Exploiting Yahoo Answers to gain #1 spot on Google!

SHHHHHHHHHHHH! Don't share this! One of the few things that actually works from this site :d

I answered my own questions without having anyone deleted and got about the same results.

Good post, thanks for taking the time to write that out.

Just a question if you don't mind answering, what level is a good level on yahoo answers for this?

lol good post, good method.. i should create a yahoo answers account and start answering some questions.

Hello m8, I was wondering if you could expound further on what you put in the abuse comments section to get the other questions deleted so easily. I used 3 accounts so far, all level 2's to try and flag this question that is above mine in google rankings but it hasn't gone away yet. =/

I have been wondering for quite some time actually about the requirements for questions to be #1, and I always thought it had to do with the level of the asker and the answerer. Thanks for explaining a method that can get you on the first spot.

Not to be a hater, but I F*CKING HATE WHEN PEOPLE ARE LIKE "Thanks - sounds good - will try" and don't report their findings. So I did give it a try and I will report my findings:

  • I did this with two long tail key-phrases (4-5 words) that I know to be in high competition and very valuable.
  • I asked my questions (with the key-phrases) on a BRAND NEW account.
  • I answered on my level 2 account. (Level 2 is when hyperlinks become active).
Asked two days ago, answered yesterday... rated tops today...

RESULTS:
BOTH questions are on Google page 1 for the key-phrases. They are not high up there. In fact, for the first key phrase I did, my actual website page that I am referring to from YA ranks higher than the YA question, but no matter. The fact that I got a reference to my website up to PAGE 1 in 3 DAYS is AMAZING!!! This is great!!!! Great GREAT!
what about blasting the yahoo answer to rank higher? :)

how high do you need authority for your account?

Yes I would also like to know. If you could be so kind to tell us what level are you talking about when you say high authority level?

Nice, thanks for your helpful sharing.
You method inspire me. I use the close trick but inside the yahoo answers.
I will try to do this for my thousands pages. :)

P.S. I am also selling Yahoo Answers Level 2 accounts, send PM to me if someone interested.

I have a question, I used YA in the past but I stopped using for whatever, since this has proven to be useful , I recently created a new Y email account - my question is how long /how many answers - will take to get to the point where you are able to post links? or what level do you have to be on to implement this method?

To implement this method you need a Level 2 account. That's because you can post clickable links only after you've reached Level 2.

Now according to Yahoo Answers's Levels and points chart, to become Level 2 you need 250 points.
When you register an account you automatically get 100 points.
Each day you visit you get 1 point.
For every answer that you write you get automatically 2 points.
Each day, being a level one you are able to post 20 answers.

So roughly if you just visit and use your answers quota:
100 + X days * (20 answers * 2 points each + 1 per day for visiting) = 250 points to get to level 2

From this mega omega complicated equation we get that we need *3.658536585365854* days *approximately* :D to reach level 2

Here comes the fun part. You can cut those 4 days in half by using Yahoo answers as it should be used - to help others answering their question the best way possible. If your answer gets chosen as a best answer you automatically get 10 points. Oh yea. So every answer you write has the potential to earn you not 2 but 12 points. So trying to write the best answer will increase the chance of it becoming a best one and thus getting a Level 2 account with clickable links.

So in a few words - 2 to 4 days and you're set up :)

OP, thanks for the great post. I see big reps and thanks coming your way and they are highly deserved. Great work!

Very nice , most probably i will start doing this , but i need to raise a good standing account first

You can also post URLs in your answers at any time and they once you hit level two.
and they... will become clickable ... once you hit level two.

Just thought that's what you were trying to say :)

And Yea that is true. A link I posted while still being Level 1 turned clickable once I became Level 2 :)
