Noob needs link advice.

Hey all,

I'm a noob and I think I've finished all my onsite SEO and trying to start building some good backlinks.

I've bought scrapebox but the idea of having to get proxies has put me off using it till now. I'll probably buy from proxygo on here as he has good rep.

I'm trying to rank for a local site which has about 25 exact match searches for my keywords daily. The competition is not great.

Apart from srcapebox where else can I get links from? I don't mind spending a few bucks if I know the links are good and my site willl rank. What would you advise me to do?

You should try to get backlinks from a variety of sources. One of these sources is Social Bookmarking. Do a search for OnlyWire.

click manage proxies, harvest proxies, remove duplicates and than start testing. You will get at least 100 valid public proxies for harvesting. For posting you will need to buy private proxies if you want to have maximum succes rate.

If your domain is new, it's not recommended to blast directly to your money site with a lot of backlinks.(if you want to post only on high pr and not spamed blogs, than is ok). If you want to blast with auto approve urls just build some web 2.0 propreties linked to your main site, as a buffer and blast those sites (pyramid).

Why is it not recommended to blast directly to my money site? I've read the post on finding my competitions backlinks in scrapebox and then "stealing" them. Is this a good idea?

When you say building web 2.0 and blasting to them you mean setting up blogs right? How would this help my money site?

P.S. Sorry if I seem dumb. Feel free to treat me like a child here and explain things very basically, I'm a total noob to all this and don't want to mess things up

Cheers for the tip man. The pricing for that seems cheap. Obviously I'd need 1000 social networks first right? Sounds like a lot of work setting that up, any tips on this?

Thanks for this. Will have a look. I think I understand this a little better now. How many 2.0's should I build and how good should the content of each be?
