Anybody using No Hands SEO?

I've tested the trial version of NHSEO and confirmed/posted links ratio was about 10%. Even without use of targeted custom comments i've found links on some higher ranked blogs. So results are pretty good for 10 min work of setting up the app.
Tool is really good, also i have small suggestion for jimbobo2779, it would be nice if there is a small colorization in app for example where you checking pages of website to be removed there is a flag Y/N but red/green in addition would be easier to notice.

Hi
My website is less than 3 months old. I have been using the trial version since Monday, I don't know if this is a coincidence but on Monday my site wasn't ranked at all on Google. Yesterday afternoon I checked for the keywords I have been using with the No Hands SEO software and I am on page 1 in 7th position for 1 keyword and page 3 for the other keyword.

If you have been using no other tools it will likely be due to NHSEO, I hope it continues to improve.

Important Note
Today Google made a change to its PR callback address and as such PR checking in No Hands SEO has ceased to work. If you have your minimum PR set at anything other than 0 it will prevent posting to any comments or trackback targets.

Until V1.6 is released, in the next couple of days, either turn minimum PR to 0 or do not use No Hands SEO as you will be wasting targets.

I apologise for this inconvenience but it would appear there was no warning about this happening and was unavoidable, it is however already working again in my developmental copy of V1.6 so it will be fixed very soon.

Hi Jimbobo2779,

I'm having problems updating to the latest version for the past few days.

The software keep on giving me this message that it cannot be updated.

Is your server down?

Make sure the "No Hands SEO.exe" file in the install directory is not write protected / read-only. You can check this by right-clicking on it and going to Properties, you should see the option somewhere in there.

But when I check my website backlinks, it still showing 0 backlinks. Is this right? Do I have to do something by hands? Anyway I need some help here. Thanks.

Basically what RushDie said, there are no really reliable ways to check your backlinks right now. Google rarely shows any links at all, Yahoo has changed and is unreliable (though much better than Google) right now. All in all no website is that great for checking how many backlinks are taken into consideration by search engines these days.

Your options are to either check the pages you are posting to are indexed, which all are as they came from search engines originally, or to just trust what you are doing and carry on building links knowing. When you create links with No Hands SEO the majority confirmed links will get noticed by search engines and your website will get credited with that link.

I used Traffic Travis Pro to do it. By the way if anybody want Traffic Travis Pro 4.0, you can get it at WSO for $17. John S. Rhodes is doing fundraising for Owego flood victims. For $17 you will get Traffic Travis and other stuff:

John S. Rhodes - Iron Fist Backlinks
James J. Jones - 30 Day Trial - Micro Niche Finder
Matt Rhodes - 4-Minute Backlinks
David Eisner - Backlinks Roundtable 1
David Eisner - Backlinks Roundtable 2
Rhodes & Dougherty - Simple SEO
Keith Dougherty - Simple WordPress SEO
Mike Cowles - One Hour Google
Peter Garety - Google Panda Underground Webinar
Charles Kirkland - SEO CodeBreaker
Joe Finn - The Top Ten Method
Sam England - 12 Month Local SEO Blueprint
Dr. Veit U.B. Schenk - Sniper Domain Magic Tool
Brenden Clerget - Super Simple SEO
Mark Ling - Traffic Travis PRO Version

Plus many bonus.

As mentioned in my other post, I used Traffic Travis Pro to check the backlinks. I also used it to check somebody's else website, the result returned for that site is 1635 and my is 0. If NHS works, then Traffic Travis should show something bigger than 0, right? I don't know how well Traffic Travis works thought.

no it doesnt have to. the other guy might have made 20k links a year ago.

How long do you suggest to keep NHS running 7/24? Can I stop it and restart it, will it be able to pick up where it left? If yes, how to do it? Thanks!

I tend to run it 12 hours a day ,I'm sure everyone will be different e.g your niche and competitors volume of links will dictate how long you need to run it.
Yes it resumes when you start it up again.

Hi,

I have double checked my file and it is not write protected or read only.

I still have this message "No Hands SEO could not be updated. Please try again later."

Any ideal why this is happening?

Thanks for answering that for me. Are you sure it crashed? If it wasn't running it could have been in your system tray in the bottome right of your screen, when minimised it can appear like it is not there anymore as it sits quietly in the system tray.

If it crashed it would have given some message to say so rather than just not being there.

If your keywords are highly competitive or anchor texts are irrelevant to the keywords you are trying to rank for it doesn't matter how many backlinks you get, you will not see an increase in rankings. Also if you have 20k pages in your website you will be spreading your 2k links across your 20k pages.

Without knowing everything about your website, its keywords and its competition it is impossible to say why you have not seen an improvement but I would suggest to look at your anchor text more closely. Also look at your number of pages, if you have lots of pages maybe remove some so as to concentrate the number links to each page.

They aren't particularly competitive. I put the keywords in the Anchor text using spinable text like {keyword 1|keyword 2|Keyword 3}.. is that wrong?
