Tell me a way to host multiple websites on different C-class IPs

Tell me a way to host multiple websites on different C-class IPs...

I asked my host and they suggested me Dedicated IP for $19.95 / year, but I'd like to make a private blog network, so it goes to expensive...

Any other suggestion?

Unless your host can provide you with individual IP's then you would have to get a dedicated server. Most shared hosting providers dont offer multiple IP's on shared hosting. You could always create a hosting exchange with other BHW members.

why don't you just buy a bunch of hosting plans from different providers. There are tons of hosting companies out there...

If you can order multiple IP's with your provider, then they can add the the extra IPs under a different record for each site and still make it linked to the same web account.

Some will give you IPs for $0.50/each... though the diff IP thing isn't even necessary based upon research.

For different C-Class IPs, seo hosting provides a good service, but is not cheap at $35 for 5 C-Classes. Would be cheaper to use different providers, although more of a hassle signing up with a different host for every single website.
If you just need different IPs, but not too fussed about different C-Class, then look at http://www.ixwebhosting.com/...> it's cheap, although the interface is not great.

go with big hosts like hostgator, open shared accounts within different period of times, you will definitely get different IPs, and given that so many people will be sharing the IP, it would look random and unconnected in Google's eyes.

Seems the best deal so far... for > 50 c-class IPs $3.75/IP... but annually it makes $45/IP, which is more than double of the price my hosting company offers (though I'm not sure the dedicated IPs==c-class)...

Recently I've heard of hosting exchange, but if you have 100 sites each hosted on different hosting account is crazy... moreover you should take care if some of the hosting plans is closed for some reason.

Any other ideas?

Especially considering you want separate C, instead of B.

That seems expensive for different c class ips. YOu really have not seen improvements in your serps for anything less then 200 blogs??

200 blogs = 200 backlinks to your money site. With 200 backlinks you can target low volume keywords for sure but the bigger the number the better keywords you can target. If the OP is thinking 10-20-30 domains then it is waste of time and money. The idea behind blog network is generating fake interest in your content (that is on the money site) so google thinks it is going viral and ranks it high.

Scripteen, I saw you have a blog network of more than 400 sites, different c-class IP each... would you reveal do you use such SEO hosting and do you pay $3 - $6 per IP monthly... or you have some other strategy?

This is probably the best advice so far. Different Geo Locations is a good idea too.

I actually work for a self managed host, and you can request up to 30 IP addresses for free, but they will ALWAYS be on the same subnet. This is a technical limitation of our network implemented for network resilience, and most likely any self managed host with their own DC operates their network similarly (please note that this is MOST LIKELY, not fact. Searching for "2 ip's different subnet" returns a page from Linode, so some hosts do allow it, but a different subnet is NOT a necessarily a different C-Class).
