Translated content = stolen content ?

I am wondering i translate an english article from ezine into german and paste it on my website, is it stolen ???

yes the content is still stolen but you won't get any penalties from Google I guess, because you have done some hard work to make that content readable for people speaking your translated language. LOL...

ok btw.. there are english affiliate articles... and i want to translate them into german... but its from same vendor on cb. i mean the offer is available for english and for german... but there are not any german articles so i wanna translate some of the english articles in german but regardless its preselling for their offer...

Ok, first of all "stolen content" is not even a word that can be used on the web.

Just look around, this generation is a "scraping" generation.

So many ppl scrape content. Even google news should be considered scraped to me.

Is ok for google to have huge "link farm" they call google news, but I can't make a review site without getting penalized. Anyway. Peace.

I think that would be the case even then. See if you have your own content there is no problem for you to translate it or put it up on different places. Google only punishes duplicate content, so as there is nothing duplicate about translated content so it would be more of a copy right issue rather than a Google penalty.

I agree with this exactly. Also several article writers, spinners, and ebook creators take crap from ezine all the time. I don't think you will have a problem.

well if you even use it to promote only the cb product I cant see an issue you are doing them a favor. Ask them for some $ in return for translating it for them officially ... other than that people are unlikely to find out unless you just use g translate which wont work to german anyway. so for other stuff you can just rewrite it and translate then you should be good.

All in all sounds like a good way to get free new fast content, innit?
Plus, you could get good translators for really cheap (and could orient yourself to developing countries and get them for even cheaper).
A good way to start would be to translate them yourselft (not counting that local marketed keywords don't seem as much saturated as global ones...).

I have been asking myself this question also. I am fortunate to speak 2 (almost 3) languages fluently. Google translates is REALLY great when you translate Swedish to English.
