For the past few days, I noticed a sharp drop in my profits.
I immediately did a SERP-analysis on all my websites and realize that at least 60% of my websites had some significant drop in SERPs.

Some of my sites were at position 1-5 and they fell to 30-60+
Some were around position 10+ and they fell to 80+

I was reading around and I saw a thread that Big G rolled out a new Panda update algorithm on 28 September 2011.

This is really crappy. Anyone else felt Big G's wrath or is it just me?

multiple threads ofthis are popping up. looks like a nice gupdate and shifting of website rankings

And just for your information, all my sites are constantly maintained.
I always build a consistent amount of backlinks every week/month on them.
The way I build backlinks stay the same even before Caffeine kicked in.
Initially I wasn't affected by Caffeine. Got a tiny little affected by Panda and Panda 2.0
But holy shit, the update on 28 Sep is really a kick to my nuts.

Dammit, the rules of the game has changed.
I guess we need to find the "formula" all over again.

Back to square one, I guess

The only thing I felt was that one of my sites vanished for a few days for most of its keywords, but then came back (thanksfully) almost as strong.

It Didn't really change much, as I am not making any money yet. ._.

Right around and since that time I have had changes too. Both good movement and small drops. How did you do your serp analysis?

I use Market Samurai sometimes, but I usually use "Free Monitor For Google" to track any SERPs movements.

Damn, I guess I need to put on my thinking hat and re-structure my linkbuilding strategies.

Do you utilize high pr networks? Lots of those networks have been getting deindexed by google recently. That could be a reason.

Damn, I'm having a Deja Vu.

Anyway, nope I didn't utilize any high PR networks.

Believe me man, you're not the only one.

I think the majority of people are feeling the wrath of G and it hurts big time!

I personally am scrambling all available resources to try and fix this problem. All my sites have dropped significantly in the SERP and before 2 weeks ago, they were sitting on page 1 for a majority of their KW.

All I can say is, I am losing a BIG chunk of change from this.
This taught me a lesson in that I need to start using social media traffic and ppc traffic.

wait wait wait - other thread are saying the recovery for this is quality, high pr back links. Is there a difference between these two? Maybe they got it wrong? Inquiring minds want to know.

One of my main sites has dropped from #6 to #18 which sucks. I am doing proper seo for it now, and mixing up the links more. Should recover.

I have seen Zero negative effects so far luckily.

Damn I wondered why I had traffic jump 200% on friday... only to fall back to normal levels...

High PR links are what you want. High PR NETWORKS is basically a bunch of high pr sites where you can rent links from. Some of those networks have big footprints and as a result are getting deindexed from Google. So if you're renting links from a shitty network that has deindexed sites on it...you won't be getting the link juice.

Having noticed anything yet, but I'll be sure to let you know if I do.

Yeah my bread winner dropped significantly and that was with legit and high pr link building methods so i'm back at square one as well wondering what the eff happened.

Some of my clients have noticed a little drop, however 90% of them didn't have any negative effect only positive.
