OK...so I signed up & am now trying to get it working. Think maybe I am missing something...
Thought would post here incase others having problems...
The "instructions" link shows you how to setup email / the relevant platforms but don't really show you how to connect it all in iautoblog.
Is there a way of testing the STMP settings work before using them? Surely this should also be integrated into the "create campaign" page as a new smtp setup is required for each campaign (is my understanding correct?).
Is Feed Email ID correct (below)? There is no option to change this when you click "edit".
If "test" does not post anything to the blog, what are your recommended methods for trouble-shooting?
Hopefully you can help me.
Thanks
edit:
Has tumblr removed email option? Cannot find it under "goodies'
We noticed a lot of users are having the issues in setting up thats why we are coming up with better videos because present ones are not too good at explaining how to setup everything up frankly. They should be up within 24-48 hours. We are giving them finishing touches. I'll post an update here when they are live.
In order to setup an autoblog with iautoblog you need to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Create your blog on a free blogging platform that is supported
Step 2: Add your SMTP account inside of iAutoblog. You would find videos for adding SMTP's inside of demo section. Please make sure you add the SMTP of the same account as the one you created the blogger/wordpress etc account with.
Step 3: Grab your post via email email-id of the blog you created by following the instruction videos.
Step 4: Create a campaign for blog and use the SMTP you added from the drop down and the to email id is "post via email" email-id you got in step 3
Step 5: Click the test button in the my campaign page. If the test post shows up that means everything is setup perfectly and you are good to go. Now we would post regularly according to what you mentioned!
You can find all videos on this page:

As for tumblr you can get the post via email email-id by clicking on the blog name after login and clicking on settings on the right hand side. In that you would find your post via email email-id. This would be updated in the new versions we are going to upload soon.
You can not edit the content source and feed email id in the campaign after setting it up. its not allowed right now.
