There are two ways of time traveling.
1st the relativistic way:
You all heard of worm holes, possibly on star trek.
If you are able to find an existing worm hole (you can't create one or the whole of space time will crumble like a pierced balloon) all you have to do is taking one end of it and move it around the universe near the speed of light. As you all know, the faster you go the slower time passes. When you do it long and fast enough, you will have a worm hole with two ends in different times.
Let's say you take one end and move it around with the speed of light (not possible to travel that fast but it is easier to calculate), the time for the traveling end of the worm hole will stand still.
Do that for 100 years from the viewpoint of the non traveling end and get back right next to the non traveling end, you will have a tunnel through time that will bring you 100 years into the future in one direction an 100 years back in time in the other.
See, I said it's simple

2nd the quantum way:
That is much much much MUCH more complicated and works on a combination of quantum teleportation and postselection but is free of the Marty McFly problem or grandfather paradox (killling your grandfather and never been born)
Just google postselection and get yourself a Ph.D in quantum physics

I put a air blower in front of the portal. It will blow air from the present into the past.
It increases the amount of air and thus pressure in the past.
Which means three seconds later in the future the pressure will be higher as well.

OP,Did you watch Terra Nova ?

I just watched Terra Nova and I thought, well, thats pretty great. I wouldn't mind hacking down giant weeds with a machete all day. But the bugs would creep me out for sure.

The world needs more communities where everyone just works and chills out. The people who have mental illness and disabilities will be taken care of by the community, and not be given welfare. They will be given access to necessities and have no use for a cash currency.

If people drink less alcohol, do less drugs, eat cleaner and healthier, there would be a smaller percentage of disabilities anyways. And if people had access to free health care and were constantly getting check ups and mental health exams, diseases would be diagnosed sooner and some would be treatable and allow the person to live a normal life.

People would be pushed to their physical limit, without breaking their mental limit. For example, I am a healthy young male, I can easily work 10+ hours 6 days a week, so I should. Where as an older person might only be asked for work 6 hours a day 4 days a week.

If time travel comes, sign me up. I am up for adventure. But I want suicide pills given in case I end up in a torture or hell situation.

How do you know its not possible to travel back in time ever? Even IF you believe that traveling back in time through normal methods such as accelerating particles faster than the speed of light, surely you admit the possible of wormholes and other portals, right?

All of you including the scientists don't know shit about time travel. Period. You only have opinions and beliefs. My opinion is that time does not exist but it is a perception thing. There are some centers in the brain (i think) which give the perception of time when a bio-photon lands on them. If you lack light, you get a bad perception of time (not by much but still). That being said everything is relative and our time is not the same as someone's in a different solar system on a different planet. Every GPS satellite has an atomic clock in it. All GPS systems have to be corrected from time to time because the time passing on the orbit is not the same as the time on earth. That's a fact. From that to traveling back in time is a long long way. You could travel back in an instance of the universe at T1 state. That would be a copy of the universe. You could travel in a parallel universe that has the same state as our universe had at T1 considering that every time increment produces a new universe at a different state. You could travel in space and reach the T1 point in time since space and time are interlocked. You could escape the universe "matrix" and from outside that universe matrix alter it or it's configuration. Kinda like a software program would go outside of a computer and think "wow, never expected such complexity. but look, I can click here and revert the state of Windows to a past backup". You could believe another way to look at the universe where there is no time nor space and the further you go out from the earth into the universe, the closer you get to earth because you approach the size of an electron and come out from the other side - you go out into the big space but you come from the small electron. You could consider that everything is a resonance of a unique entity that no matter how large or how small something is, it is part of the entity and an infinity of entities make up every single such object - as in everything is made of electrons, but everything builds up to be an electron.

There are tens of ideas i can come up with without even thinking too much about this. What I find interesting however is if I think of the universe as an organism and we are parts of it. Like cells are part of a body. AND AT THE SAME TIME, the universe itself in all its complexity is a tiny elemental unit of our body and everything. It gets copied to infinity - multiple instances of same thing - and you get the universe. I just find that amazing to think of, especially that we like to think of ourselves as intelligent and superior. I bet a cell i our body thinks she's intelligent and superior yet has no idea what it is part of. Just like us.

Right now the generally accepted theory on the topic of time travel into the past is that time travel will only be possible up to the point when the "time machine" was built.
