Recently I had a .org domain available for a nice micro niche keyword according to GKT. Someone bought it yesterday, would changing the order of the keywords make a huge impact SEO wise?
keyword1keyword2keyword3.org to keyword2keyword3keyword1.org both phrases would make sense to humans what about search engines?

You have to check search results for the keywords in the different order. If the phrase still makes sense, odds are people are searching for it.

The keyword makes sense, however search results drop from 4.4k US local exact to 400 US local so I guess my lesson here is always take action and never wait :(.

Yes, you said it, you have to register it fast.
If you find this keyword profitable and easy to rank for just go for it and add a letter to domain name.

would you recommend adding a letter or adding a hyphens? keyword1-keyword2keyword3.com is available
CPC is $5 according to G also there are some products available to sell at 15% commision.

YES BIG TIME.

Order DOES matter. I tried it already and the results were disastrous, I have lost some money choosing the wrong order. If the inverted keywords are not researched in google, it will not be good.

Order does matter, but soon enough the weight placed on the EMD will drop dramatically, so it won't matter much then. If you can't get an exact match, just make sure that your keyword phrase appears in your URL in one way or another.
