Dont Use Google Analytics Or Webmaster Tools?

I always wondered why some companies fight heavily to NOT use Google Analytics & Webmaster tools but they never explained why. I guess it all makes sense now, but then again, they're still all speculative aren't they?

When I was new to IM, I always thought that analytics and webmaster are there to help you gain traffic and help you get more visitors.
Now I know it is there to make your website do the google dance and get your site sandboxed or deindexed.
I try to stay away from it. Those tools are made to make your site lose serps and not gain them.

I have no choice on most of my sites though since I have adsense.

...the worrying part is, even if you dont use any google products, that thanks to google toolbar and chrome surfers G still knows allot and Chrome gets a bigger and bigger market share, at least on my sites...

I always use Google Analytics and Google Webmasters Tools. Since I want to rank high in Google so I might as well pay attention to what these Google products are saying.

How long it took to get those two sites deindexed and how long you have had the current working site?

analytics + adsense = SITE DEAD

I decided to launch a genuine site in a comptt niche, eventhough the niche was tough 2 crack, my keyword research was pretty strong and without much efforts i was ranking in top 5 and top 3 for most of my keywords.

I had ordered unique articles from a seller here at BHW. I was using adsense and analytics on that site, the traffic was growing nicely and one day BAM the site got deindexed.. I was shocked.

OK I just bought a new domain and relaunched the same site but with only 1 adsense unit and no analytics... site got deindexed again.

Now I did the same thing but with No adsense, No Analytics, No Webmasters and monetizing through Infolinks. Infolinks is giving be 15-20% of CTR and $4-5 a day, the site is sailing smoothly now (atleast till now) , I have my fingers crossed.

Is there any point to remove analytics code if I still have to use GWT and Adsense? WT for targeting right country and AS for monetizing.

Monrox is right...you can find some useful statistical info in cpanel instead, or any number of WP plugins. StatPress is decent, imho.

Yes i never like analytics too
