Shit! This is the worst day this year

I just woke up and checked rank tracker as I do every day.

All my sites dropped in ranking. The newer sites dropped even 40 positions. My main site lost it's top position. I have like 6 quality sites and all dropped. I am using this linkbuilding strategy for 2-3 years now and never had this kind of problem before.

I really hope it's just google dance. What do you think?

My rankings are mostly unaffected although my satellite sites are kinda affected.

There's been another update going on for the last couple of days. It seems to favor old, authority websites once again.

I odn't know what the problem could be.

I'd say that 95% of my backlinks are white/greyhat. I have no xrumer,scrapebox, senuke blasts on it. A few sites are 100% whitehat. Dammit.

I have a pretty rare strategy with almost no footprints (sorry but can't tell you more info). My friend uses the same strategy and he doesn't seem to be affected.

Can you see different deranking values in different niches?
What bouncerate did your sites have?

I think the bounce rate is getting more important to google. At least that's what look at, if I were s search engine.

No. I am active in many niches and I the ranks dropped on all sites.

There is no explanation for this phenomenon, he he, i left footprints on my sites backlinks and on some of them i got higher in search engine, on some of them i am on the same place, who knows what big g is cooking for us simple organisms, he he, i think we are all doomed forever.

I also think there is no explanation for this. Some sites dropped like 1-2 positions (which may not be the affect of this update) while others dropped 20-40. I used the same link building strategy on all sites.

I am almost sure (at least I hope) the rankings will be back in a few days.

I haven't noticed any difference in my sites (then again, not much competition tbh). I was just wondering whether this has something to do with google+ finally being released and google has just implemented it into seo, try seeing whether the pages that overtook you had many +1's. I don't have a clue whether this has anything to do with it, just a hunch and its good to analyse everything in a situation like this

I think it's just the google updates. Try not to change for at least a week to see if your rankings will bounce back. That's happened to me before

weirdly enough, my site has been going up in ranking last few days...

it was hit pretty hard last month and has been slowly climbing back up since then

ONe of my blog also got affected, and visitor count has declined and i believe its the same thing (unknown) we all are discussing here.

I also believe that its some change of google Algo , so it should be temporary.
