Most likely, or within the next 2 days in worst case scenario, meaning it was last grabbed at the Hub before being transferred to your more local location, and then to you. Usually large packages get loaded first, so with 100 irons, you should be fine.

hey id like to know the status, i know in canada they wont deliver now until you call them and pay your duties, its a real pain in the ass, i guess too many drivers were pocketing the money

If there was a problem with customs you wouldn't be getting update. All it would state is PENDING. Then a knock on the door.

I'll pull it up and one time it says clearance delay then I'll refresh and it will say processed for clearance. but no updates since friday.

Call the hub with your tracking #. I used to run a freight company and that is not an unusual circumstance to get a phone call about a particular package.

I googled flat irons and it looks like some kind of item to straighten hair and unless they are replicas or something I doubt you have an issue.

Have you had other items delivered before and have taken this long to process? The only time you'll see delays is if the delivery arrives on a Saturday or Sunday

Never had a problem before, but this is a different brand. But the package was seized this morning. I just got off the phone with dhl.

You ordered 40 of them, this is why, stop ordering such large loads.

I had a load (of teddy bears no less), get held up the same way. Then I got a call from customs with a few questions which they ran through HS to make sure I wasn't on their watch list. They also didn't notify me until the last day of an eight day hold period before turning the shipment away. It was fascinating and frustrating at the same time.

Did the shipment get delivered? If not you need to call your customs broker or forwarder to resolve the issue. It's probably just a tariff or brokerage fee that needs to be paid. Maybe the new supplier in China translated "flat irons" into "automatic pistols" -- you never know.

I'm writing it off as a loss but thankfully not a total loss, supplier resending half my goods. but going with a different brand this time. I have many address I use. Hate to lose one but I'll survive. Will it be flagged with just DHL or any carriers now?
