I'm new to the whole IM thing and this is my first BHW post. <everyone says hi>

I'm looking to get my feet wet and try some Adsense stuff. I'll be honest though, I'm wanting to do things the legit way. I know, I know, I'm in a BH forum but I'm hoping to find some good clean techniques here. I ran across this ad on ebay and was wondering if this thing has any potential to work. This guy has really good feedback...what do you guys think?

And there are tons of people on this forum that do exactly the same thing as your ebay guy, selling premade sites.
If I were in your shoes (and I once was) I would buy one of the premade sites, take a look how they were made and do it myself.

Thanks for the advise! This guy builds four for less than $300. So it's safe to assume that I probably would spend $300 and make nothing? Or is there a chance I'll get lucky and make some money with these?

There is always a chance to get lucky but to get $300 + $hosting + $what ever you have to spend in time and services for backlinks, can take a pretty long time for a first shot.
There are BHW members that sell you a MNS Keywords with available EMD and there are article writers. You can get your first Site up and running for much less than $300. Search for Micro Niche Sites Plus (I cant post links yet)
$300 is a lot for a first try.
AND you should ask the ebay guy for an example of his work before you buy.

You need to keep in mind that people who are selling a service like that, offering to setup automated income would not be selling it if they were able to make more profit off of keeping it themselves. You will learn a lot more if you just start a WordPress blog or something along those lines and learn from the ground up.

4 sites for 300$ sounds too much, unless he put some backlinks or deliver the sites on Google page 1.

Check the BST area on this forum, there are good and trustful members that sell 10 sites for less than 300$.

It's impossible to guarantee that you'll make money with those sites, but if you invest on those sites, building backlinks, posting quality content there's a good chance that they'll generate some revenue.
