Jus' Started a e-business Company!

Hello fellas,

My name is G. and i jus' started a e-business/ web based company, wich is called G.O.B Network. We offer digital products,like e-books, video series etc. And it's all focus on self development. Pretty nice market with a lot of hot niches.

I know that, for my start ups turn out to be successful, i need to learn how to incorporate SEO dynamically to my business.

So... i'm new up here and with all this stuff, but i'm ready to learn everything that i need to learn. And it can be, of course, BlackHat SEO. Business is business and i know that some times we need to get our hands a little bit dirty.

I want my biz to go viral. And it will. The thing is that i don't know where to start.

So... i'm here, humbly, asking you gentlemen what i need to learn first... suggestions of materials, links of posts, tips, videos, articles, books... i do and read everything that it takes to figure this elegant art of SEO out.

So,please, could you guys help me on this? How and where i start? What i need to learn and do?

If you can, it would be awesome. And i promisse that, in return, i will report every advance of my business, real time... give you feedback and offer my help to anyone about anything - if i can, naturally.

Look... i have some knowledge base in e-marketing. That's why i'm managing to build a prospect list pretty fast, with near zero effort (using foruns ). But, like i said, i want it to go viral.I want to play this game hard, real hard. So.. i need to get more education about SEO,and at all kinds of it (specially using YouTube to build traffic). That's my point here fellas.

And Look... i tried to put a link of one of my product's squeeze page, but it's against the forum rules. At least for me, a newbie.

PS: i'm brazilian. So, the web page it's in portuguese. But, if you can, please give me feedback about the layout desing,etc !

If you're looking to go "viral," SEO won't cut it. SEO is a long and tedious task. If you want to do SEO, expect it to take at least 3-6 months for a medium competitive keyword to see any results.

Do you know "white hat SEO?" If not, you need to start there. Black hat is just a twist on white hat and you can't apply black hat techniques until you understand the fundamentals, which is white hat.

If you haven't done proper keyword research, DO IT. Here's a great thread to get you started with that "[Method] STEP by STEP Keyword Research for Newbies" (Do a search for it since I can't post urls either). Make a list of keywords that satisfies the requirements in that tutorial.

After that, head over the white hat SEO forum to learn how to rank for those keywords.

One last piece of advice, anyone that promises you to get your site to the top of the search engines for a difficult keyword is probably lying. If they aren't lying. it will probably hurt you in the long run. Take slow and you will reap the benefits in the end. Hope that helps!
