Do you give Google all the information on what sites you own?

How does Google track you and how do you avoid it?

I've never used Analytics. I don't want to give big G a list of the websites I own, in case one is associated with something Google doesn't like... which is likely to happen sooner or later.

I also clear my cookies and log out of any Google service before working on my sites. Is this doing anything useful? I'm not sure exactly what Google logs and cares about.... Does anyone have more information on this subject?

Exposing your website to G stabilizes it. Do it with false info if you are sketch but it shouldn't be a worry. They love that shit......its called white hat SEO

Yes, Others very probably do that too but the point here is that most people are not quite worried on their rankings on Other sites, just on G.

Delete flash cookies, not just the "normal" cookies, from your machine. Add ccleaner as an extension through Mozilla to eliminate them. I set mine to wipe it clean every 30 seconds....

Only practice SEO during hours you know most of the googleplex staff are sleeping. Wear a tinfoil hat at all stages of link building. Turn off your router the moment scrapebox or xrumer even pop into your head.

Basically what you have to do is avoid using Windows, Linux or Mac because the people who work at google use those operating systems. Instead, get a fresh copy of UNIX (any flavor you like) and use command line browsers to avoid image tracking.

Don't use Chrome.

- Go here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm download the FAT hosts file that redirects a lot of those nosy websites to 127.0.0.1

- Stay away from google products. In general. Maybe someone gets away safe with with them, but like, seriously, why risking? It's YOUR BUSINESS.

- If you want to use a webkit browser download a snapshot of Chromium. Better, use Firefox.

- Delete the folder that holds LSO (flash) objects in your profile directory and create a file with the same name. This will prevent flash from a future attempt to recreate that folder.

- Use your private/incognito mode whenever you don't want cookies to linger after that specific session.

- Delete the cookies from your normal browsers frequently with CC cleaner as suggested.

- Consider using scroogle instead of google when searching. There are plugins that integrate seamlessly with firefox.
