Exploiting Yahoo Answers to gain #1 spot on Google!

Before asking question, READ the whole post FIRST! Understand that you have to spend time to make it WORK.

Right now, I am in total amazement how I manage to do that! I'm sure most of you know Yahoo Answers by now. The method I am going to show you probably exist since long ago but I do think that I have added my own twist to it. As you know by now, Yahoo Answers does have a big impact in search result on several search engine. This impact is higher when there is keywords with low competition, it works even better with niche!

Here is an example what could happen if you know how to exploit Yahoo Answers: (just an example, NOT a keyword that I exploit)

How to do that?
First, keep in mind that this won't work well for high competing keywords... A simple example is "Download movie", don't expect to gain #1 SE spot with that. I will explain what I did and YOU try to see whether you can replicate that with YOUR keywords/niche.

I have a blog which takes advantage of a gap which exist in a certain market. The said keywords have around 27,100 exact monthly global search. The blog is around 4 days old. Originally, I started to find targeted website which have content related to my blog then I would post comment and link back to my blog... it did work. I also realize that Yahoo Answers have question pertaining to this niche. What I did was simple:

- Create another yahoo answer account; I already have one account with high level and 'authority'.
- Use the second account to ask a question which contain the main keywords.
- Use my main high level account to reply to the question while making sure to drop my link. Since I have a high level account, the link was active.
- Wait around 30 minutes then use the 2nd account to make my answer "Best".

Guess what? A day later, if I search my keywords I would be in Yahoo Answer BUT it was in the spot below the top answer (blue area). This morning I was thinking how I could make my answer become top answer (red area). What I did was simple, I reported the other answer since the answer could be considered almost spam. The answer was deleted IMMEDIATELY. I was amazed at that... I thought why not to try to report the question too, I could make up some excuse to flag it as illegal.. It was deleted RIGHT away! (continue read below to know why) The question/answer was 3 years old, mine is only 1 day old!!

When I searched google, it still showed the deleted answer as top but when you visit the said page, you would see that its deleted. But about 2 hours later, I search again the same term... My answer was AT TOP of the Yahoo Answer. It gets better... The Yahoo Answer use to occupied the 5th spot in the search page but right now it suddenly jump to first spot! I checked my website, incoming traffic is suddenly going up!

How occupying #1 on Google was possible?

(1) My Yahoo Answer account

I'd like to add that my Yahoo Answer account was genuinely use to answer question of people. I am really on Yahoo Answer to help people and I am always thoughtful and detailed when giving answers. I end up having 40%+ Best Answer. Technically speaking, my account is in great standing.

About the part where I could delete answer/question: In Yahoo Answer, if you have high level and your account have high rate of best answer... then they make your account have more "Authority". It means that your abuse report are processed faster. But I did not realize that they would give me authority where you actually have some kind of mod power... Which I have now. The fact that I would report abuse often crap question/answer also adds up to make my account have more authority.

(2) My Answer
The answer that I gave was not just a single line + slapped the link on it, nope! I actually write it in the form of a small 100 words article while making sure my keywords was present in it but also other related keywords. This very targeted answer probably made Google happy and bumped the Yahoo Answer from #5 to #1!

Always remember, keep using your account to provide thoughtful answer... Don't let it turn into just a tool which you use to promote your site; thats the key to make your #1 spot happen!

Its really too early to give out data about this. Its been just a few hours ago that Google picked it up and place it on #1. I will try to give you an accurate number tomorrow on how much traffic it brought in within 24 hours.

Whatever the data will, keep in mind the follow:
- The exact global search for this term amounts to 27,100 monthly. This means (average) 900 exact search daily.
- People will land on the yahoo page FIRST. After they read the small article, they will most likely head over to the website. So, its like this: Someone Search Google > Click on #1 Link > Read article and is convinced to proceed > Visit my website
This is literally laser targeting! Each one of them that are coming is here with the reason that my website is in existence. The traffic quality is top notch! I am not monetizing it yet because the said site was made base on an interest of mine but I am also to wait and see how much traffic I will pick up in the coming days, its going to be interesting!

UPDATE!

I was going through other Search Engine manually and I am surprised what I saw.

Yahoo Search Engine ranked MY SITE #4 for my keyword!! (not the Yahoo Answers)

Bing list the Yahoo Answers for this keyword as first but they have not updated my answer at top yet... it still have link to the deleted one. Its just a matter of time before I get that top stop!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Rickstar! Its really silly easy to just get up there. I'm not sure what you meant by semi-automated/automated but in my case I did it quite quickly. Its just a matter of how much your keyword is plagued by competitors. Usually niche have much better success to stick up there than say a high competing keywords.

Its really amazing that they would index and show your answer within a few hours! I'm really impressed! I'll now try to think of ways of further taking advantage of Yahoo Answers then hopefully I will be sharing it here.

Level 2 or Level 3 Accounts need for long term. And For Quick cash or niche like games, movies you just need fresh accounts. if you have bot then tat is pretty good otherwise you can perform the task manually.

I have been doing the same from last 2 years. I am having around 50 Level accounts and thousands of fresh account with level zero. I think yahoo Answer one of the best place all over the internet where we can get Massive Targeted Traffic in No time. Do not underestimate the power of YA

The high level was actually to take down 'competition'. Its easier that way to clear the way out and push your answer to the top when you have an account which have authority. Well, at least this is how I did it. My eyes have been glued on the counter of my website and it keeps going up. If I have to give an update right now about the data I gathered so far... I can say that traffic has gone up by 200% (extrapolated to 24 hours). But I am guessing that during afternoon/night in the American region... this will be where the most boost will come from.

Well, just speculation for the time being but whatever is happening right now... its good!

Gotta agree with you that YA is the best source of Targeted Traffic... just need to tap into that potential! I am really having all kind of ideas already. Sooner or later I might post something new about it. I'm really excited to figure it out more in depth and share it here!
