I use the Adwords Keyword Tool to find Keywords. I only check Exact or Phrase and then I find how many searches the KW gets.

I used to use the Competition Bar to find out how competitive a Keyword is.
But I think this is actually worthless. Because it is made for Adwords.
If it says a Keyword has low Competition it just means not many People are buying this Keyword from Adwords, but it could still be very competitive.

Am I right?

The competition bar is the one thing that most people trip up on at first. What it tells you is how competative the bidding is on AdWords for that keyword, you actually want a HIGH competition if you plan on using AdSense.

Thanks, that's what I just figured out.
High Competition on Adwords means higher PPC.

It depends on exactly what you are trying to achieve. If you are trying to rank a site, then the competition shown on the adwords keytool shouldn't be ranked too high in your criterias.

You're exactly right.

To analyze the SEO competition though, you'll need to look at the Top 10 urls.

Tools like Market Samurai will help you to find out how the competition is.
Check the search function here and read, read, read.....

You will learn at once both that and another on Semrush, Why are you suffer, I do not understand?
