I installed GA on a site yesterday after something like 2 years with Piwik..

Guys.. If you are using GA instead of piwik you are missing out! it beats Google analytics big time.

And PPC campaigns... I find it absolutely impossible to use Google Analytics. No IP address and no real time stats. Apart from Google intelligence you mentioned.

spying and privacy concerns are synonymous with the big g how can you ask such a silly question

but then again you shouldn't be on the internet if you're worried about being spied on. Facebook is run by the C|A also can't forget that that's why i stay away from personal pages and stick to marketing there.
