I helped a guy not too long ago who was in the UK get a US bank account. I charged him 700. 300 of it was refundable once he got his account card in the mail.

80.00 for insurance and 2 day mail.

He was a success.

The next guy I am helping is causing me a headache. So I am coming to my community and asking am I being unreasonable?

Without giving us a hint under which way you are opening the account... C-Corp, LLC, Partnership or Personal, don't know if the $700 is worth the trouble.

How are you able to avoid the risk of working with someone you don't know?

I'm not sure about US. In UK (if you're an EU resident) such a service would cost between 100 GBP to 700 GBP - depending on the agent.

Did you check your competitors' prices?

I was just opening a basic checking account with a savings account. I was charging 700 USD which is nothing if we are looking in the sense of GPB.

how do you open US bank accounts for non residents? Can they be linked to paypal business accounts?

Easy, and yes that is usually the purpose why the accounts are opened. I have a connection that enables me to be able to open multiple accounts.

My personal thing is that I set the accounts up, then I make the PayPal account for them, call PayPal let them know this is a traveling account. I set up the numbers, etc.

another one who would be interested in this ...

This can be risky.do you use your id and billing to do this?you've got to be careful who you do this for

It's rather simple and pretty common for non US citizens to do what has is being talked about. If the people have a business already, they just expand their business to the US soil.

There will be no shit list and yes you do have to be careful but isn't that life.

I have found the reference of this site http://usaccount.50webs.com at http://askville.amazon.com/open-bank-account-resident/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=1048457 selling info on opening US bank accounts for NON-US residents for $9
As anyone used this site to buy the ebook on opening US bank accounts ? It's hosted on free server.I smell fishy.Pls let me know if anyone bought the service/info book

Hi there, I don't own that site nor have any claim to it.

You can get this information anywhere you go and don't need to buy it. I will even say that. The reason people would buy it is because they were too lazy to do their due diligence.

wow man ... the contact that is opening these accounts really endangers his life and family as well as yours (FBI + HOMELAND SECURITY) shit ... all the best

no, your information is misconstrued. There are several places that offer services as a registered agent where you are the advocate for the business in need.

It is my opinion and only my opinion the the Op is a fraudster.
I have received PM's regarding this thread.
However I am not a mod and only have limited capacity.
If you couldn't see this was a disguised sales thread from the beginning
then you shouldn't be in IM.
