Biggest Mistake in your IM Career

My biggest mistake in IM is wasting much time with crappy ebooks.

  1. Reading way too much information in the beginning.
  2. Going from idea to idea, project to project without measuring success and progress properly.
  3. Being content when sites hit #1, stop backlinking/adding content.
  4. Generally being a lazy fuck and not doing enough
  5. Booking my tickets to Thailand after I had smelt some adsense success. Then basically slacking off and presuming it would only get better. Things crashed hard and my little holiday was a fail.
  6. Not hustling enough.
  7. Doing a scrapebox AA blast on what I thought was my own site. Only to realise I had misplaced a .txt file and I was actually blasting a super whitehat medical customer of mine. OUCH - Never scrapebox + marijuana

But then again, life is a lesson. If I had only stuck with one method I wouldn't have learnt as much as I have now.
Awesome thread btw! :)

1. ptc sites-1.5months= 15$
2. Warrior forum and DP ( Heard abt them from Darren Rowse's Blog)
3. my ongoing mistake:- Reading books on this forum but not doing anything.

PS-Cant do anything about it as my PC is on repair. Lol

Buying lots of domain/sites that can't be done together.

My mistake at the beginning was to to do too much work on my own, well I haven't got money to outsource but when first income came I should start to do that and focus only on planning etc The problem was that I thought that only I can do it in good way, now i see that perfectionism is very bad and I trust my workers more.

I fought with a client. Yes, Thats the worst Mistake.

Same as most here

  • looking at broad not exact search results
  • jumping from method to method
  • marking a blog as adult just to entice guys to enter, then loosing my cpa for having offer on adult site

surprised no one has mentioned "JV with Erik Creed".... (too soon?)

My mistake was reading to much guides and money making methods instead of working hard like now and banking $$$$$

My mistake is not using my profit to reinvest to better IM tools.

for me:
- lack of focus
- try to do\learn everything at the same time
- wasting money on crapy wso's
- buying stupid domains (who knows)
- start too many websites without finishing one

Wasting my time reading the full thread :D

But seriously my biggest mistake was thinking I can cheat google by clicking ads on my own adsense site.
