Mobile Website With SMS Integration (Optimized For Restaurants and Realtors)

looking for the release also.
please pm me when your done.
thanks you,.

thanks adsbg textmarketer is one I have looked at, but what busts my chops is that Twillio is $1 a month for a locol number (hence no need for bidding $1000's on names) and therte txt rate is $0.01. In the UK the lowest is around $0.07 . I suspect it is vat and the fact that most of these companies are white labels.
They do have an API, so will check it out. Cheers for all the hard work imprint.

Ref: European Provider -
Can I recommend textmarketer dot co dot uk
I have no affiliation just remember seeing a WP pluging that used both twilio & textmarketeer to achieve the same thing on a static website.
Hope this helps you.

Alright, I'll take a look at it, thanks Neil.

So sorry for the 20 questions imprint :o (maybe someone else can answer this instead) but i was just wondering this:

in the case of realtors how many listings could a mobile site handle without becoming too slow to load? all those images take a lot of space, i would think.

would you set a limit to the amount of listings the client can place at any given time? or is there another way to handle this?

Images will obviously have to be limited and optimized, which I'll try to do through the platform.

I've found, http://www.txtlocal.co.uk real quickly, check it out and see if their prices are any better.

Hi imprint, do you think you add or create these two videos on the sales page. It shows why you should have an mobile optimized website and I think it will help to capture our potential client attention. Looking forward to your finished project. Cheers!

Both video can be found here:

Hi,

How much longer you think before your platform is ready?

Great initiative with the FREE FOR BHW thinking :)
Looking forward to it :)

sounds like a great idea. I can't wait but I will have to for something good. :)

Do you have a better idea of the release date yet?

Looking forward to it!

Yet another good thread and again i'm subscribed ;-).

Hello,

How I plan on it working:

Restaurants will be able to create SMS coupons to gain subscriptions, but people will also be able to text in to reserve a table (i.e. 'Table for 3 at 5:00 PM'). All reservations are sent to an email or phone and then they can check it on their platform.

Realtors will be able to use the SMS in order to supply more information to someone that is looking at a house. So, say someone pulls off the side of the road and sees a house for sale, and they want more information, they simply text the keyword (Which could be anything, but the address makes the most since) to the number and receive more information.

Thanks,
Imprint

I have a few questions for you Imprint, hope you don't mind :). For the first one how will you handle it with Restaurants its a nice idea to do a kind of Opentable through mobile (text) marketing the problem is though I assume you will be using an auto responder for the reservation system etc. But how will you assure that they have room? Wouldn't it be better for them to Text something like Free tables to a number and then they will get the free tables for a certain date? This way it would be an even higher selling point for Restaurants and use another word for coupons on the table so you can get subscribers ... (Just my 2 cents and wondering what your view is on that).

As for the Address with the Realtor I wouldn't go for that since allot of times when I see a house for sale I wouldn't have a clue what street i'm on. Also the boards they have haning in Europe won't allow such a big street name. I would keep it simple and use something like Mansion 1 or whatever and just up the number for each house you have.

If you can find a provider similar to Twilio that offers an API for the Europe region, I'll be more than happy to at least check it out and see what we can get going for ya.

I know there is one in Holland that will suit the needs was wondering If you are able to check that API out. If you could contact me through skype or so we can chat a little about it and exchange ideas :).

this is a GREAT thread, i would like to suggest adding Clubs to the mobile site platform as i see these being a big moneymaker as well. I've also thought about Bands/musicians, ive already got 2 bands using my text service, so maybe even integrate that aswell?

and would u be able to setup like a text counter and a limiter? for instance each client control panel tells the client how many text messages they have sent out. Then on the admin panel add a feature that sets how many text messages a month u want each client to use. The way im selling my text messaging is in a tiered system in which is tiered by amount of text messages sent a month.

just some ideas, let me know what u think

thanks for creating something great for the community. Quick questions: will the mobile sites be hosted by each client's regular host, or are these mobile pages hosted elsewhere? in either case a redirect for mobile browsers would need to be installed on their homepage. i often wonder how that part of the deal is handled.

will this be easily customizable for any type of business?

Well, I was hoping for sometime this week, but my schedule got a wrench thrown in it and I had to go out of town, and now that I'm back home, I have my brothers wedding to attend to Saturday, and all the prepping on Friday, so this weekend is gone.

It WILL be released this next week though, I should be able to dedicate most of my time to it.

that`s a lot of ideas !

The more the merrier, right? ;). I do see these useful to businesses though.

Great initiative with the FREE FOR BHW thinking :)
Looking forward to it :)

Me too! :D

Yeah, I apologize fore the delay, it throws all my other work off schedule too, but my brother needed me to take his place for going out of town so I decided to lend him a hand.

In regards to the restaurant reservation, once a visitor submits a reservation either via the SMS system or Mobile website, they'll get a response saying that their reservation has been placed and they will be contacted shortly. Management (or whoever the business wants) will receive an email and SMS saying that their is a new reservation, in which they can then login and check the reservation and confirm or deny it.

The great thing about this SMS platform is that it is lenient, Realtors can anything they want to identify the house, they can use an address or a keyword like 'Mansion 1' (Because behind the scenes wise, the address is just a keyword).

Drop your skype in my PM, I'll add you.

Any business will be able to use the mobile website and SMS marketing for whatever they want. But the reason that Restaurants and Realtors are being singled-out is because they have two features that most other businesses wont need, and that is Menus and House Listings. Sure you could setup a basic menu using a generic page or a basic house listing using a generic page, but having a specific feature will bring you more money for you.

Yes, you'll be able to limit each account to a specific amount of texts per month.

Everything will be hosted by you. You'll host your businesses website, your clients mobile website, and their control panel. All can be hosted on a small plan like a Baby Plan from HostGator.

The platform will supply a Javascript and PHP redirect for your customers to use, they will either need to give you the details so you can upload it to their index page, or they need to do it their self. But it's just simply copying and pasting.

Yes, any business can use the mobile websites and SMS marketing. Restaurants and Realtors are what I see as my main ones, but Chiropractors, Doctors, Car Garages, Plumbers, Electricians, etc. will be able to benefit from it.

I'm seeing that a lot of businesses I'd like to target already have decent websites, just not mobile sites. So what would be the best way to handle the hosting of the mobile site if someone else created their main site? (since we'd still need browser redirect on the non-mobile site)

I don't understand your question very well. But...
You will create mobile site for them (or they will do that for themselves using this CMS), you will host it on your hosting and in the end you will give them code they must insert in their index page.
If I'm not right please someone correct me.

mAestro is correct on this. It doesn't matter who is hosting their main website, we're not interested in that, you'll be hosting their mobile site, and all the mobile site and main website have in common is that the main site will redirect mobile visitors via a short JS or PHP code.

Looks Great, can't wait to see the demo :)

Thanks

Some might wants to offer free trial period to capture more leads, so it will be great to have an option to select whether we want to offer a 7, 14, 21 or 30 days free trial in the admin panel. So that it will appear in the sales page under the price plan or free trial page with contact form for customer to sign up. Then we will set it up for customer and email them the login details.

This is a great ideal I have seen several other that are similar but not as detailed or featured as this will be can't wait to see a finished version will hold all questions till after that

Thanks
