I checked out google about what no follow/Do follow is. I think I understand but I would like someone to clarify some stuff for me. First some things about linking:

1 - If I put a link on my blog post leading to my home page, does that help me rank up higher?

2 - If I put Nofollow on that link, will it not help with my ranking?

3 - Should I skip commenting on blogs that has no follow on all their links? Some? Or does this matter?

4 - Is there a good add-on for firefox I can use that tells me if a blog is using nofollow?

Thanks.

I would say No follow links should have 20% (+/-5%) of share in your backlinks...it helps to play safe and not rise any alarms..

So better to post in blogs either way.

Ok, found a good add on. it highlights no follow links in pink. the rest is on blue.

Right now, Our user names are no follow. Lets just pretend that our user names are actually linking to our blogs. If it were, I'd only get 20% from black hat? Just as an example.

sry, just making sure.

But this is concerning me since anyone who starts out using wordpress has no follow in all the comments. wouldn't this make things longer and harder? I hate no follow.....

No follow = No link juice (Has no effect in search engine rankings)
Do follow = Link juice (Helps in Search engine rankings)

That is totally a miss conception ....:pirate:

Today i no longer care about what links is no-follow or do-follow. I use them all because in my humble opinion link variety and diversity is much more important. And even simpler: the more links you get the better, no matter if it is no-follow or do-follow.

Nonsense!!! Sorry, but I have to disagree!:pirate:

You could search no do follow add ons on Google for free download. Just type no do follow addon when it is installed you must reset your browser. Addons would effect in mouse in left click.

1) Can do but its usually better to rank inner pages on specific terms. Homepages tend to be more generic, inner pages more targetted on specific cash terms.

2) LOL

3) Not if your doing it manually, if its fire and forget auto stuff then just take what you can get regardless

4) "Search Status" has an option to highlight no follow links in your browser
