The Ultimate KW Research Tool: WTF do you need?

Sounds like a promising tool....

Beating the SERPS and the attributes you need to consider are far different from what they used to be - the majority of established tools have not yet caught up. If your tool addresses the new elements required in KW analysis and does it fast, you will capture a large hole in the market. What are these attributes?

In terms of useability, the ability to set your filters, load up your keywords (as someone said above 1-3k+) and hit go is a must. I personally don't care how long this task takes so long as the results are automated through all points below - happy to set up the tool to run with a bucket load of proxies overnight and results all neatly sorted ready for the morning!

The first step would be to run the keyterms through the GKT checking for the initial number of searches - you would need a filter here to wittle down only the best searched KW's on EXACT match. These keyterms would then be automatically placed into the queue below; (you could place the EMD check box in here as well to further shorten the list or leave it unchecked so you can still do the analysis if you wanted)

The key elements I want to be looking at (top 10 results);

1.URL - TLD or inner page
2.H1 tag
3.Title Tag
4.Description tag
5.Back links to page
6.Backlinks to TL domain
7. % (or number) of backlink anchors to page which contain your keyterm searched*
8.Autority of domain
9.EMD avaliable
10.Number of EXACT searches per month

*this is the main aspect which no other tool currently presents on autopilot; the ability to see at a glance which result from the top 10 is actually optimising for a given keyterm (golden...) from an off site SEO perspective.

The ideal would be to insert a batch of keyterms say, 3k set the above filters at relevant levels and return only results to you for pages which are not optimised and therefore are only in the top 10 due to site autority in addition to the absence of RELEVANT results.

When is my copy ready?! theres a bunch of cash sitting here waiting for you :)

This post is exactly right.

Also: I'm a dummy, use a graphical indicator on top of the stats so I don't have to read anything if I don't wanna.

add that feature from SENuke that says if it's easy to rank for or whatever. Check if there are easy sites to beat out like yahoo answers, squidoo, etc...

We have something like this and an indicator (green, orange, red) so you can sort them from easiest to rank for to the hardest.

When will it be ready?

Mid-end of next month.

Any updates? are you working on old PR checker?

Not sure what you're talking about but we do check the PR of the Top 10 URL's.

Very valuable suggestion takeachance.

We'll allow bulk adding keywords, but only for seed keywords, each seed keyword will generate 100+ long tails so if you add say 10 seed keywords, you'll have 10x 100 = 1000 keywords generated, all pre-analyzed for you.

Regarding the Top 10 analysis, ours is very accurate from my testing and we only show the important data as to not complicate things for you guys. Things like Domain Age, PageRank, Backlinks to Domain, Backlinks to Page, Keyword in Title, Keyword in URL, Keyword in Description.

We then analyze all that data and give each URL a Difficulty value for you to see how hard it'll be to outrank a specific URL on Google.

Im very interested, I love keyword tools!!!

Thanks! Don't forget to opt-in!

Looking forward to this tool, will definitely buy it.

Thank you.

Anything for you lol. We'll have a green, orange, red indicator in addition to the 1-100 point based value for Difficulty.

The ability to tell if an EMD for a listed keyword is going to expire soon. That would be nice.

Not viable, but we'll see what we can do once our partner's API is ready.

+1 For importing a list of keywords like apekillape and takeachance mentioned previously. That would be a HUGE timesaver and I'm sure you would carve out a slice of Market Samurai's market share with a tool that could do this.

Make it like SKCA but please make it faster and multi threaded.
I think SKCA don't have both features. :D

We're taking notes, few people have requested this now.

It'd be somewhat hard to implement right off the top, but we'll see what happens few weeks after the launch.

Thanks!

SKCA = Stealth Keyword Competition Analyzer

Just watched their demo video, a lot of unnecessary steps and redundant information.

Our method of SEO analysis will be more accurate, and the best thing is, you don't have to wait for it to finish!

Average PR of pages ranking in the top 10 for a keyword. Also indicating how many homepages or subpages ranking within the top 10. This will help us analyze if the top 10 results consists of heavy authority homepages or internal subpages.

Hi starchet,

Those are very good suggestions.

We'll have Average Links, but not Average PR for now. Will implement Average PR if we get enough requests although the PR of each URL of the Top 10 will be displayed.

IMO a more accurate/useful indicator would be to show what PR value is the most common one. i.e: Use Median instead of Average.
