Guys,
This is all my fault.
It's mainly me that deals with support, and a technical issue on my end left me with no online access since Thursday (almost 72 hours, and I felt like life had ended - what did we ever do without the internet???).
We take pride in the fact that customer's never have to wait more than a few hours for a reply, with most responses often arriving in a few minutes, but, on very rare occasions, technical hitches do happen.
Everyone who has emailed support has now been replied to. If you have not yet sent an email, please do so, as the support email address takes priority over posts in this thread.

Hey,
There's nothing our end which would block payments from Paypal balances, in fact, most buyer's have used their existing balance.
It's possibly something to do with your PP account, or, in general, PP restrictions in force for your country, but it's not something which can be solved our end.
Only suggestion is for you to contact PP and see what the issue is.

First of all, I'm really digging this script especially the easy no nonsense interface. Also lots of customizing options. Good job guys, excited for V2!
I must be honest though, there's one thing that's been bugging me. I've noticed that the blank referer feature uses referer.us to blank the referer. I was under the impression that this would be done on my server as part of the hosted solution and not some third party site. I don't like my affiliate links going through a third party site for obvious reasons.
I guess I could modify CLP to point to my own blanking script but then that kinda defeats the purpose of having an all in one solution. Is a self hosted solution for blanking in the works and will the fake referer feature planned for V2 also use a third party site? Thx

The very first version used referer.us for blanking, but we quickly implemented a self hosted blanking solution for you to use. If you send support an email they will be able to point you in the right direction. Or just check out the support forum where we have a number of add-ons that have been coded over the last few months.

Asap, but not before it has been tested to our 100% satisfaction.
A separate issue is that the amount of changes require a rewrite of the Manual, so that will add a little bit of time.

What happened was that Referer.us offered the best solution at the time we coded v1, and had been very reliable for ages.
A few weeks after releasing, Referer.us started having some issues, so we coded a self-hosted blanking solution.
What we neglected to do due to the urgency, and we then decided to leave until v2 was released, was to update the routing for the links as you see them within the CLP Admin Dashboard (i.e. in the Previews), so those do still route through Referer.us.
This is what you have been seeing, but, on "live lockers" you will note that it no longer routes through Referer.us at all. Given that previews tend not to be clicked upon at all, or, if they are, they are only clicked on by the logged in Admin user, we didn't consider it to be too great an inconvenience if they stopped working when Referer.us has issues.
What IS of greatest importance though, is your traffic, and that's why we moved the "live" routing away from Referer.us asas they had problems.
Hope that clarifies things - in v2, both the previews and the live links will ALL route through your own self-hosted blanker, which will be included with CLP.
