I spent many many hours on KW research, article writing, and link building in the last month on my newest site, only to have it sandboxed last week. It was Halloween related, and traffic was doubling, and then boom. Now I only get image traffic...

How soon is it possible to get out of the sandbox? It's not even worth it to me if I can't faster than a couple weeks... whyy did I decide to get into this time constrained niche.. lol. -_-

Are you sure it's sandboxed?

Perhaps it could be a google dance.

You can't predict google, it could come back stronger than ever. I would monitor the rankings for a few days and see what happens!

Goodluck :)

to my knowledge sandboxed is dropping out of near all rankings, but still being indexed, right? I certainly hope it's a dance, lol. I've spent ridiculous hours on this project.

Thanks though!

If you are still indexed then your site is not sandboxed but it is google dancing.

So it's not as bad as you think, your site may even come back stronger than ever after the dance is done.

Content + backlinks + patience

Goodluck :)

Umm.. Sandbox doesn't mean the site is de-indexed.

Keep building links and adding content. This can happen to everyone and I've experienced it myself dozens of times.

this actualy happens to me everytime - gone for a week then BAM 1st page.

Have patience and wait to see the result for a couple of days, but if it's truly sandbox, just count the days, because when it comes back, your blog will become a google friendly site and a traffic site.hope it's a google dance.

Are you sure? I thought being sandboxed means site is still indexed but won't rank for any keywords.
Sandboxed means that site is not indexed anymore in google and won't rank for any keywords.

Google dance means that site is still indexed but not ranking for keywords

Why are you distributing false information?

When you're sandboxed you don't rank for keywords but you're still indexed, i.e site:site.com

When you're dancing you're jumping from good rankings to bad rankings and everywhere and still indexed.

When you're deindexed you can't be found in Google under any search.

I'm pretty sure Sandboxed means you are deindexed as well mate.... ;)

Interesting!

I need to brush up on my SEO skills.

Thanks for correcting me mate, Cheers! :D
