Recommendation for college student?

Hey guys, I'm currently a freshmen in college and I need some extra (help pay for tuition and misc expenses). What do you guys recommend me to do? I've been reading about e-whoring but I don't really understand what it is. I'm newbie in all of this. I also have $800 bucks saved up which I'm willing to invest wisely in order to gain a maximum profit.

Instead of e-whoring I would go for creating micro-niche websites with the $800 and then doing SEO on the sites.

This is a better viable and longer-lasting plan for you.
 
Should I buy the micro niche guy by the guy offering the service here on bhw? Or create them myself?
 
Great to hear that someone is ready to invest some money to earn a living from IM! It's just so funny that some people come here and tell how they want to get at least 5000$/month and they're not even ready to invest in a cheap hosting and a domain (a few dozen bucks per year). Well I have nothing to add to the answers above.. Just read the forums and find some methods to try out and you'll eventually make money!

Save the $800 for SEO.

If you can make 10-20 mirconiche websites yourself then you will have a great plan for SEO.

$50 per site should be fine for SEO and youll get page 1 ranking
 
I just don't want to waste my money. I've read that people invest money and they never get results. I guess I just have to read more and inform myself about IM
 
The thing is that I'm not really that savvy in creating sites. Would all of this be done with wordpress?

You can buy a good looking Wordpress template and then all you need is content, which can also be bought from numerous places. For WP templates I would take a look a for example themeforest.net

This is probably your best bet my friend. i am in your same shoes, going to college full time and trying to make IM my side job so i dont have to wash dishes or make pizzas untill i graduate. DO NOT waste your school loans on any of the interenet marketing stuff. I have made that mistake a few times and it always bites me in the ass. maybe like 50 bucks max but seriously make sure you focus on your school first then do this with whatever time you have left. BHW is not going anywhere. and since your just starting out i dont care if you had 5000 dollars to invest it doesn't mean your going to make anything. your greatest investment is going to be your time spent learning on this forum. my best advice to you is to read this forum, choose a stable method that has been proven over time, and study it. then study it more.

The biggest mistake that newbies make is jumping all over the place from method to method with promises of making thousands a week.

You could get free good-looking templates from the BHW download center.

That is what I would do if I was you. Save your money for the SEO!
 
Save up the money you have! Dont invest in anything unless you know what you are actually doing.

If you want quick money, try offering your services on freelanccing sites and/or here, and keep reading the information posted here.

yeah wp would be the easiest to rank on google. You can install them yourself. invest 20 bucks into ur domain and monthly hosting. save everything else for ur offsite SEO. onsite SEO its easy just understands basics. And overall hard work, it will take time to see results, but the harder ur work the greater u will be rewarded.

I spend any $15/month for hosting, every 3 months or so spend about $100 for offsite seo. and my returns are anywhere from $2k - $4k montly. Was hard at the beginning no doubt. but i hanged in there and everything is autopilot for me now.
 
There is no such thing as quick easy money. Everything will take some degree of work.


Find what niche you are best fit for. Maybe you could do the youtube upload method... Get a mass uploader and then buy some accounts and start uploading :)
 
To be of greater help i need to know more about your skills There are great thing to do at certain campuses need to know more to get a maximum yield of your money.

Yeah I'm currently in freelancing for this guy that I have make back links for the website he works with, he pays me well but the thing is that he went over budget so the amount of work has decreased so I'm only making 100 bucks per week with him.

I actually mentioned it in one of my threads (I can't post the link yet cause BHW won't let me, it's titled ''BackLink question Newbie'' under the white hat SEO

Maybe you should understand the difference between quick money and quick easy money.

Building up micro niche sites and getting them ranked for a noob like him wont be easy and it may take him 4-5 months to earn his savings back.

He's noob and not into keyword research etc. Whereas if he do some freelancing, he can earn while he learn more about IM.

Thing is there is not only him that needs backlink. Find the potential buyers, show them what you can offer them and your experience, Sky is the limit!

If you are in US, there was a method posted for university students few months back. Basic blueprint was to find a good education scholarship CPA offer, grab related .com, have .com forwarded to your CPA link, make some nice and attractive banners/notice done (website is offering scholarship). Distribute among students and put it on notice boards (think out of the box) - Bank!

Being at a university, you could do some offline marketing with dating offers.

Those should convert well for you.
