How Many People Here Work From Home Only?

At this point, I am starting from scratch and my goal is $50/day. Keeping motivated can be hard, as I've been out of the game for 3-4 years and things have definitely changed a bit... but this forum helps :)

And as a doctor (BHW doctor :)), I prescribe coffee (use only after 12AM to stay awake), if you smoke, one cigarette every hour to give the brain 5min rest, less sleep, a huge amount of dedication and last but the most important medication, love what you are doing :D:D:D:D

In about 2 years, you will be healthy (wealthy)

Please take this medication on a daily basis :D:pirate:

Superb. Once I thought When my computer will give me Cash

Now a days Cash is coming like rain While I am sleeping too

:rain:

Never Give up !!!!

You can count me in! I'm bootstrapping operations from my house, freelancing and giving it my best to make it successful. Just beginning, but learning and enjoying the ride thus far.

I quit my job 5 months ago, full time IM since then, working from home, I do occasional contract IT jobs but mostly it's just IM. Things I've learnt:

1 - You have to work hard, probably much harder than you've worked in your 9 - 5
2 - The money you earn is dependent on the effort you put in (unlike a 9 - 5)
3 - You have to enjoy your work and enjoy SEO otherwise you will burn out fast
4 - You have to be very patient, it's the nature of the game
5 - When you start banking well as an affiliate its an awesome feeling, you have no boss, no clients, nobody to please, just your sites which your selling on.

2 years, eh? I hope you don't predict it'll take 2 years for me to make $50/day :P Thats a rather painful prediction. lol.

No, not at all, LOL. The $50 will come before that. After 2 yrs it will be wealth.

Now listen to doctor and start taking them medication !!!!! You are wasting valuable time here!! :p

Co-sign with those who say you have to work hard and never give up. I can only add that you need to be disciplined. Set your work hours and STICK to them no matter what more interesting distractions (and they are many!:D) come at you. Good luck!:)

So what is a better idea for a money making site.

1: An information site/blog that just ranks well for a few things in its niche

2: A site that is more user base like www0canv0as

You don't even have to work hard for the rest of your life to make good money online. You just need to give it 110% for the first year or so and then outsource all your work.

Exactly, and just to work from some exotic destinations 1-2 hours per day, to see if your money system is live and running :)
That's a reason why i like this IM so much, because in this business you have really that possibility

I`m interested to work from home, too. Currently i`m working with paid to promote websites and drive traffic to them but i need something else to earn more.

Exactly! I just started outsourcing my work to a great guy in the Phillipines and man, it's been really great since. I work about 30 minutes to 1 hour per day now, basically just checking to make sure all is well.

It's a little bit of a hassle at first to train someone, but it only took 2 or 3 days and was totally worth it :)

Lets see...I started IM fulltime at the end of 2008 OP and plan to never re-enter the "rat race" again. Working from home fulltime has been a dream come true after almost 30 years of "working for the man" everyday. I started off here at BHW not knowing a damn thing about IM OP and have been able to do fairly well for my family from the things I've learned here.

I know the noobs get pissed when they're told "read the forum, no one's going to spoonfeed you their methods" but to all of you who are just getting started, you have to look at IM and BHW seriously as if you're taking a College course for a future career. I spent 6 months reading and learning here before I even made a single post.

What you learn here WILL pay off big-time if you go into this with that kind of level of determination. I'm usually not one to flaunt my possessions...but here's a few things I recently purchased with the knowledge I gained from this forum. Keep trying new methods OP until your efforts start to "click". Good luck.

When you guys say "IM" you are talking internet marketing, rite?

I know they are not the same thing but every time I hear internet marketing I think of MLMs.

But I think I am learning that it would be better to have a site that has a product to offer not just information or a fun read and hope to bank on ads?

That would be my suggestion. ;) BUT...the more you diversify your earnings the more your earnings snowball. And yes regarding IM = internet marketing.
