Why are most methods here not workable or just shitty scams?

As long as you've got the "earn money quickly" mindset then of course you'll continue to get sucked into the quick fix, no time required, push button systems... and as soon as you discover that they really require more than just an hour at your computer & the push of a button you'll cry "scam!"

The bigger issue usually is if you're really willing to put in the effort. Most noobs will read about a method from one thread & then jump in with both feet without planning properly. Or else on the other end are those who read a strategy, it sounds good, but then they talk themselves out of even trying. "It's too hard" or "That worked for him, but he must have just got lucky" etc. And you've got to stick with a method long enough to really learn about it & get good at it before abandoning it & jumping after the next shiny thing. Add your own creative twist & couple that with a niche you're genuinely passionate about & you'll see success.

It sounds like you're just trying little sneaky methods to turn a quick buck. Invest in yourself & pick a method that's more long term and stick with it.

Most people forget that you can't get everything at once and that even using good methods might take some time, that's all.

You got to be smart and test what works for you. Some methods are just stupid IMO though

Most of the methods are over used, that is why they are shared. Every piece of crap found on topics & threads is worth gold - with a proper mind and the will to earn & work - be an alchemist, turn dust into gold.

There is no "crap" , with the right approach everything will turn into gold :)

I am a total n00b on this but I do see a few flaws in your logic, no offence intended.

I don't think you can make any serious money by doing little to no work at all. Perhaps some know how but I am quite sure they will not share for free. Not while there is still serious money to be earned anyways.

I also don't look at the newbie guides as a cut and paste method but as a simplified way to explain a method. Being the n00b that I am I still need to google abbreviations and methods. As an example: I googled SEO. *redface* You don't start out reading Hamlet either right? It takes some training and education to understand what is being said.

Personally, I like the newbie guides a lot and wish there were more of them or perhaps a separate section in the forum. Other than that, reading the page I discover you actually did make some money from the methods given on this site. Not a lot, but still. To me it sounds like you need to stick to one method that works and scale it up.

1 dollar a day is more than 300 a year and registration+hosting can be done by a n00b like me for 40 euro's a year. This profit margin is good enough for me. I would definitely not classify a method I only spend some time on and not actual money to be a scam, especially if it did make me some profit.

Again, I am a n00b and don't mean to offend you so please ignore as you see fit. :)
Easier to read with some paragraphs. LOL

@Amsterdammer - this is a great first post. Keep that mindset and you'll do fine on this forum. Welcome.

Just goes to show that the argument "everyone was a newbie once" doesn't really give any justification to the stupid noob posts we see on here so often. Just look at the difference between this post that Amsterdammer just made and compare it with the posts made by the OP and the slew of similar posts by other noobs.

That's the difference between a "newbie" and a "noob". It's true that everyone starts out as a "newbie" at one time, but not everyone starts as a "noob".

Seems like every second "NOOB GET IN HERE for $50 a day" ends up being some shitty scam that won't earn you shit.

am i wrong or just looking at the wrong methods?
That is because in life, when it comes to money, if something was actually that easy people wouldn't be sharing it around.

Usually these methods involve multiple skills. They all boil down to the same basic thing: advertising on a website, and then generating traffic to view/click on the advertisement.

These "get $50 a day" things are all just the same. On facebook, the method is to get traffic to your fan pages so people will join. On youtube, it is to get traffic to your videos so people will see your links. On search engines, it is to raise your profile to get traffic to your website.

See? Nothing special. They all boil down to this. Instead of going after $50 a day methods, what people should be doing is learning the basic skills. Pick a niche. Lets say micro niche blogs. OK, learn how to find easy and valuable keywords. Alright, learn how to make a blog that will increase the chances of people reading it. OK, so find some nice themes. Learn to write some nice content. OK, now then learn how to opitmise it for onsite SEO. OK then, learn what backlinks you need and how to get them to raise its ranking in Google.

Instead of reading a rubbish "how to make $50 a day" people should learn the building-block steps that allow them to actually put almost any method into practice. When I stopped looking at idiotic guides and started learning basic website creation and optimisation, I started to make money :pirate:

It's not just black hat or even Seo. Scammers and sharks are every where that money is being spent.

You're one of the lucky ones that never has to worry about that because almost every seo scam can be discovered here with a
click of the search button here. You're a inner circle guy with the "inside scoop" on what works, what's crap, how to work it and 75% you can
get it for free or at a discount. Feckin Badass You sailin the 7 seas with
a king's treasure at your feet! :D:pirate: Oh you don't know?! :p

Because people buy the scams and I make money; what a silly question.

Ok, you have 5 methods to make money; PICK ONE.
Do what it says for a MONTH not 2 hours, not 10 hours, but every damn day for a month.

quoted from WINDMILL:
"Pick a niche. "

If you can't pick a niche hire someone on fiverr.
If you don't know how to find valuable keywords then hire somone on fiverr.
LEARN how to make a blog; you can hire someone to do it for you later but learn it yourself first.
Type "free wordpress themes" into google; pick one or two even.
If you can't write content hire someone on fiverr.
Learn simple SEO; after you know it you can do it in 5 minutes on any site.
If you can't get backlinks then HIRE someone on fiverr to do it for you.

Now, if you can do all of these things, then MAKE A FIVERR account and do them; I guarantee you'll make money.

Sorry, forgot something.

If you can do those things on fiverr, after you make money, then WRITE A SHITTY EBOOK about how to make money on fiverr.

Making money online is simple; you just have to work at it.

Those "$100 dollars a day" things are rarely worth looking at.
1. Learn to build a solid site. Preferably in a niche you enjoy working with and one that is also profitable long term.
2.Learn basic seo.
3. Have good content on your site i.e build it for readers not just for google.
4. Monetize it and work hard at getting diverse backlinks for it. Thats all you need to make it.

First, thanks OP for giving the community a valuable opportunity to share some valuable insight and shed some light on the "non working methods and scams" aspect of BHW. I think I speak for everyone when I say what we need is the chance to educate some people as to why they are failing so miserably.
Alright, to tackle the first part of your question. The reason most methods aren't workable is that 95% of the people that read a post on a method and try it out have sh*t for brains. The vast majority of people will copy paste the method directly and cause it to become oversaturated. Others will copy paste the method into an ebook and sell an idea that could have made hundreds of people thousands of dollars. Instead, more lazy people are given the chance to further oversaturate the method. But, there is a small, glimmering piece of hope here. Maybe, just maybe, one day people will learn to use their brains (assuming they are able to find them) and actually put their own twist on a method and make it work for them in their own context and not cause oversaturation. (Do not hold your breath, suggest buying A LOT of compressed oxygen)
And to adress the second part of your question, the term scam is rather harsh and depends entirely on point of view. Instead of scam, we should be considering these works of art to be an "simplified wealth redistribution system". To rephrase this, these so-called "scams" often involve targeting people of lesser intelligence and relieving them of money that they will more than likely squander on porn or cheap decals for their poorly modified import cars(also referred to as douchewagons). Instead of this money being squandered and put in to the pockets of unscrupulous businessmen preying on these poor misguided morons, we should be using the invisible hand of black hattery to guide these people to doing the proper thing and investing in us so that we may better ourselves and humankind. We can also think of this as natural selection, or survival of the fittest, if you will. That being said, if you feel that you are taking advantage of someone then always remember, someone will be taking these fools' money, so why shouldn't it be going to something other than douchewagons and porn?
Thanks.

Most neat post I ever seen. +Rep :pirate:

i just posted a method about adsense that if you use it correctly you stand to make a substantial profit...that being said... alot of work on the front end needs to be done to ANY endevor to make cash.....if you dont applie wjat you are learning here... and any other forums anywhere....the techniques we find and methods we see.. are like tall tales (american or other wise) they have their roots in facts and statisticts you CAN bank on. but the real issue is are you going to do the leg work and reaserch and applie the things you learn here...

as its been said befor about 95% of chumps on this forum and all over IM lland wont make ONE red cent becuase of shear lazyness and lack of (SELF) education...the Curnnels of truth are here....but its up to the end user to make them into something that resinate with them and then applie them...

the top dog here in this forum know the stuff...ask them send a pm.. tell me about xwz.. (after you have check out some of there post and shares they may have put out.) most cats on here are pretty humble.. me included..but dont relie on us to make a "fix" for you for free...the info is here to be taken.. you just gott to do some work on it to be viable for you....

i personaly have had luck with
article marketing
adsense
website building / selling
content lockers
torents
email marketing
blogs

just some stuff i have experience in to turn a buck here or there... but if i was to make a super huge WSO and clain XYZ$ that i made and a huge PDF with vidoes... it would sell... but i GUERENTEE dudes wont make it work becuase its what worked for me....

offline marketing is starting to take a huge swing back but most dont posses the skill sets to really monopolize on that...

but again if you find something you are interested in and you like the idea... give it a go..and put hard effort into it.
or else you wasting money and time...and time id the one resource you cant replace readily

recap---
dont be lazy
do your research
have about 100 bucks to burn on any one endevor
and fallow throught on EVERY action and effort

best WSO you ever paid for right there.. and you just got it for free..

lol

Rob

P.S.

my last post was NOT a post to garnish leads or
pm from would be B2B clients...

i am a horrible person dont talk to me..

lol

Rob

PSS
sorry for the double post :)

Seems like every second "NOOB GET IN HERE for $50 a day" ends up being some shitty scam that won't earn you shit.

am i wrong or just looking at the wrong methods?

Why are there so many posts like that? Because people want to get lots of REP and THANKS so they put out shitty methods that kinda work, and hope people will see the good parts of in and twist it. Mainly they want to get REP and THANKS tho.

But if not for those types of posts I wouldn't be earning the decent amount of money I'm earning and will earn in future.

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe this forum just doesn't work for you. Or maybe it just hasn't yet. There are some forums that work for me, and some that don't. Its normal.

OP - you joined in June. When I first joined this forum in 2008, I was overwhelmed by how much information was here. It took me about 2-3 months to digest it all, and then I finally started to identify some projects I actually wanted to run.

In the end I discovered that your return is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put into it. You need to identify about 1-5 projects you would like to test. I said projects, because if you keep trying get-rich quick crap you will simply burn out on IM.

Projects require time to develop, implement, test, and scale. The return can often be quite large. None of this will happen though until you get serious about your business. All the threads aren't crap OP. In fact, I'm currently looking at implementing several projects developed out of threads here in the next few months.

Try to be open about stuff, and look for projects that require either a large time investment, or a large monetary investment($150+). When you commit to your business you will succeed.

btw I DO have a website that i have been working on for 2 months with seo, adsense etc. I was just worried that I'd spent too much on it with out getting a profit so I wanted some money quick to negate that.

Dude, some win, some lose...that's business.

I just make a idea web, then i usually come up with a good niche.
You just need to think, then see what works for you.

Never Give Up and Take small Risks.
