Is a .com EMD with 40,000 searches a month a good deal? I'm thinking about buying it when I get paid tonight for a offline job.

If it is not violating trademarks and it is getting traffic naturally not someone driving traffic to it to hit a home-run with the fee they are charging, I would buy it.

With that being said, you haven't mentioned the price so I am not sure what to advise you to do.

Its the name of a historical person,so it can't be trademarked lol. The price is $9.28 from namecheap

I't doesn't have any good cpc,but I plan on monetizing it more with a email submit and a store since its of a historical person.

Unless it is something famous like christophercolumbus.com, I don't know how you can market it... Because with CC.com, you can pitch it to a HUGE company about how they can run some worldwide ad, and this would be the perfect site for them.

I.E. For Coca Cola "Under The Cap", they need to spell out christopher columbus or something, then go to christophercolumbus.com to claim the prize.

Problem is, you'll probably get a lot of high school students as visitors for their assignments. I can't see how that will work with CPA offers.

I'll do adbrite+ email submit so I can build a email list to sell. It was actaully 5,000 extact searches a month for the persons full name firstmiddlelast.com not 40,000 but the domain only cost $1.18 from a godaddy coupon I got from another thread.
