He contacted me. The work was to remove 2 watermarks on an image. As soon as I finished, he disappeared.

I waited for him but then it became evident that I was scammed. I reported the thread.

Indeed. By that time I was pretty much done. I work pretty fast. So little could be done. I've learned my lesson, at least.
