i just lost a Halloween site that was about to make... a lot of fucking money because I reported a business who was keyword stuffing(ie: blending keywords with colors), on the same g account as my webmaster tools. deindexed. nowhere.............................................. wow. this is fucked up.

it was an accident, didn't realize I was logged into it.

Let me get this straight, they de-indexed your site because your competitor was gaming Google and you informed them about it???

It's awful. I'm sorry. Maybe you'll have to restore mail and return the site

I mean that we can still report other people if we create a new gmail account. btw, feel sorry for you.:(

That sucks man. Sorry to hear that.

So this makes sense to all of you? This is the most confusing thing I've ever heard.

It sounds like he's saying Google punished him for reporting a site that was keyword stuffing?

It sounds like he reported a site that was keyword stuffing and then one of his sites got deindexed a short time later. I don't know why he thinks these two events are related.

Thank you!

I was sitting here thinking "Is this some weird thing everyone knows about but me?"

People are just responding like this is just what happens when you report someone to Google.

They most likely looked at his sites also or most sites in the page one of the particular keyword.

Ah, now this is starting to make sense.

Sounds like he was also in violation of Google's master plan, and accidentally brought himself to their attention as well.

Thanks for clearing that up.

"If you have a straw tail, stay far from fire"

Fits perfectly to the situation.

Except that nothing in existence has a tail made of straw!

I think "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" is much more fitting.

Your mind and body will follow where you point your eyes. Focus them on the competition and you'll never get anywhere. Focus on your own stuff if you want success. I read so many posts about people wanting to attack competitor sites. Beat them with YOUR results. Put your eyes back on the prize and not on the competition. Negative energy never got anyone anywhere but depressed. Reminds me of two school girls standing back and taking turns slapping each other until one of them starts crying. Stupid stuff to read and watch.

Today I went to school. Also my dog crapped in the yard. I think these events are correlated.

on the same g account as my webmaster tools

That's why, they looked at his sites after he reported someone. See the correlation. He feels that he might have inadvertently caused them to look at his site that he had attached to his G account because he was complaining about someone else's site. And it seems that after a manual review of his site they felt he was doing something wrong.
