I currently get about 25-35 visits a day consistently. I want to get to 100 a day. I do twitter and Facebook promotion at the moment, quite a bit of forum posting with my link in sig. I get about half my visitors from google at the moment.

Any tips would be great. If it matters I have a wordpress blog about photoshop and photography.

search for low competition keywords and then do seo. rank your a** up

Currently it's only my tutorials that are getting SE traffic. How many searches a month should a keyword have, to be worth targeting?

Where are you ranked with that traffic? I am assuming with such low volume not at the top. I would do two things. If you are looking for sales, I would use PPC to make sure you can convert first.

Once you know you can covert, I would just build good, relevant pages and you will move up just fine. Once you move up the traffic will also increase.

Traffic is a strange thing, you wouldn't think just one spot up in the rankings would make a lot of difference in your traffic, but it could mean 1,000's more.

I wish you well, you will get there.

I am not trying to sell a product. Do you think I should be trying to rank my homepage more? At the moment I am only ranking for my individual tutorials.

so simply if you want to 100 visits a day you just share new and informative things to the visitor in this people visit and like your latest share.
thanks....

once you figure it out or even how to get 20 i want to know because im getting 5-10 sometimes 20 on a good day and i have some good content on my blog

If you write good tutorials, simply write more tutorials. Write as many good tutorials as you can.

Such tutorials are really targeting any high search volume keywords (I mean, lets say 5000 plus searches per month). But they are naturally targeting plenty of long tail keywords, what is also good, as they convert well.

So my advice - simply write more good tutorials (4 times as much as you have now), and you'll be having 100 visits per day for sure.

The distributed ranking may be the problem, focusing on one page in a site seems to work best. Aside from that, you could try submitting descriptions of your photoshop and photography tricks to article directories, with links back to your main page, or making video tutorials and posting them to youtube with links back to your site (again, mostly to the main page). The possibilities are more or less endless.

I already do YouTube videos. Just to clarify, it's a wordpress blog. Most of the SE traffic goes to 2 tutorials in particular. Should I try to boost my rankings for the blog homepage or for all the tutorials?

My Wordpress Blog is about gadget, and now go nearly about 300 uv per day. It's a manual blog and just 3 month since bought the domain. Here's what I did:
1. Buy some 1+ year old domain (min PR 3 what I prefer)
2. Write post consistently
3. Boost on page SEO with clickbump SEO plugin, get 100 scores and get 2-5% keyword density
4. Blast each post you've created with SENUKE X Full Monty.

Rince and repeat, and eventually you got 300+ UV per day...

and for bonus, one of post on page 2 in google.com for 146,000,000 results

that's my method, hope you find what good for you...

If half of your visitors are from Google then check out the keywords that bring you traffic and consolidate your site for them. Search engine traffic is the best traffic you can get.

Are you running a blog? It shouldn't be too hard to bump your visits to 100. Submit your RSS feed to a couple of RSS directories and set up your blog to automatically ping a list of 'announce' services. You should be able to find a bunch online.

Just keep posting articles, then the visitors will come:)

Get more friends and followers. Also you can sign up to more social networks and make them all related to your site. Then hit all the sites with the same post. Stay active on them they always helps. There are plenty of other methods, but these are a simple start

Be creative.Keep on updating and posting new things.Try to find what is exactly giving you more traffic and do more of that.

Create some viral videos, and promote through Twitter & YouTube.

Guest blogging, Blog Commenting, Link bait is a great way to generate free traffic.
