They are fine. In the UK they are popular, they advertise everywhere and everything. Its not just a small shitty scam.

Never used them but they wouldn't be able to carry on advertising in like all magazines over here

1and1 is the biggest scammer I have ever come across.

I tried regging 3 domains at 1and1 last year and they charged my CC twice! And still didn't agree that they had got the payment. I had to finally file a dispute with my CC company and took me 3 months to get the money back.

Lol, just because they advertise, that makes them ok??? That's just about the funniest fucking thing I've read all day.

Just wait till next year if you plan on keeping your domain. You will be overcharged, find it near impossible to transfer the domain, etc.

Yeah I can confirm that 1and1 sucks pretty hardcore. They will jerk you around with the domains and the hosting is atrocious. Stay Away.

got out of a bullcrap VPS contract with 1&1 today, will never give them my business again. Terrible company, IMO... I don't care if they were giving away $.01 domains today, I still wouldn't give them my penny. Just sayin.
