Fiverr again changed something

Fiverr again make some changes.I am nowhere in search results even if i have few successful gigs 30-40 orders on each.i don't know how to back on top now and what they changed .Why they change things so often ?

Fiverr have some problems with video upload. Now i see new tab: Haz Video tab. Idk what other they changed.

Fiverr used to rely on Youtube for their videos but they now have their own video player and probably storing them on their own servers.

In my opinion, Fiverr's algorithm for front page display is not very efficient and does not maximize profit for them, if I were their owner I wouldn't be too happy. I've seen gigs that were created quite a while ago, made absolutely no money but still being displayed on the front first or second page for quite some time. Meanwhile, some gigs that generated money consistently but then got dropped to oblivion, wasting many good business opportunities.

I've noticed this too, and from a buyers standpoint its annoying!

If they had a better way of letting the cream rise to the top I'm sure there'd be a ton more sales. In order for Fiverr to go to the next level they need to implement better sorting algorithms.

idk, i've just checked a few gig of mine and they're still ranking the same, i'm receiving the same amount of orders as well

but they must have been doing something because i've received a lots of email notifications about orders/updates on order pages, messages twice (once early in the morning and the afternoon they sent them once more)

Yeah this is just annoying. I have a decent gig on fiverr and it doesn't show up where it should show up. Oh well, I hope enough people complain to them to fix these problems. I know I will.

Fiverr actualy has an idea behind this. The idea is to give newcommers aswell as oldtimers an equal chance of making money. If fiverr were to stick with only good selling gigs the sellers would soon drop off and buyers will also drop since nothing new is presented to them. I think fiverr is doing well with this and this function was probably a bennefit for them in the long term.

I completely forgot about that. I know they were being more generous towards the newer members. I guess that's nice. But I think they should include at least 5 top sellers in the search. Or maybe an option to search for top sellers.

that option would be the death of new sellers, which was already in place when one could order the gigs by popularity and now you can still order them by rating which obviously a new comer doesn't have

yea, one should realize the fiverr's system/search algorithm is pretty unpredictable and don't panic right away if you receive half of the orders than the other day, on the next day you can receive 2-3x much, it'll correct itself in the long run in case if fiverr doesn't fuck anything up seriously

I have just added a video to my gig, does that really help? I don't know. I also have 10k traffic going there and am trying to build some fiverr likes to my gig as I have been told that helps??

I'm right there with ya. I was getting about 7 or 8 orders a day and then today its only 1. Views have gone way down as well. irate:
