My c&d, please give me your advice

Here we are,
i got my first c&d from fb and i really dont know what to do.
I leave outside of US, and i dont know what exactly a c&d is.
Do i have to reply giving them all the infos they requested (how much i earned and all my fake account)?
What if i ignore the letter (sended by mail)?
I'm scared because i cant see what is the best solution.
I would like to reply and cooperate, but i think that in this case i will admit all what they said to me, and maybe after my reply they will have all the proof they want to take me to a court.
But what if i dont cooperate?
Now i have just replyed to them to allow me more time to understand the contet of the letter.
What should i do?
What are your advice?

Dude, just switch off your internet, and never ever log to any fb email or anything, and buy new internet provider.

Dont replay them of course, and see what happen in few day. In the mean time stay away from facebook do not even open it!

Wrong. The US has a myriad of treaties with other countries that would allow for FB to get a default judgment and then domesticate it in the OP's country (if his country has such a treaty w/the US). The OP's country's laws would then apply to collect against that domesticated judgment.

What are the chances that will happen? Who knows, but it is possible if FB wants to push this thing to the legal limit.

ps- they are basically asking for all the money that you made advertising on facebook.

there isn't much they can do. they'd have to drag your ass into a foreign court and prove that you damaged their ability to earn money by abusing their system.

i'd cool it with the facebook spam though, you've obviously pissed off some powerful people.

Agreed. Countries are not so separate anymore like the past. I would suggest the OP hold off on FB for now, or even better contact a Lawyer within his country about his options.
