~400 high anonymous http proxies

it is over kill your right
but because i have a 20 meg connection
i can raise my threads very high for scanning
and lets be honest when it comes to public proxies
the most scraped public proxies u will get working is
anything from 1-3k tops..i did say scraped public proxies.

when we go to ip port scanned proxies that can vary
from 1-20k...

so im hoping your not test 42 million - im assuming your
saying you use them as a means to spot blocks of new
proxies worth port scanning

Looks like you have a good ISP when they do not care about proxy scanning. Mine suspended my connection once for that so I have no choice than use dedicated hosting.

I have nothing but datacenter blocks in the database. All those blocks are worth for scanning and yes im doing them all. I think I have been doing it for half year by now. Needless to say, those proxies I found are exlusive and not listed in google and are very unlikely to be listed on other proxy services.

I need those proxies occasionally for anonymous browsing and hence the proxies are datacenter proxies, often maxed download speeds. It's more like a hobby to me.

SELECT SUM(hosts),COUNT(cidr) FROM hostingproviders;
+------------+-------------+
| SUM(hosts) | COUNT(cidr) |
+------------+-------------+
| 42659690 | 3019 |
+------------+-------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

SELECT * FROM hostingproviders WHERE abbr = "LU";
+------------------+-------+------+------------+-----------------------+
| cidr | hosts | abbr | country | site |
+------------------+-------+------+------------+-----------------------+
| 212.117.160.0/19 | 8190 | LU | LUXEMBOURG | xxx |

I simply define the ports or port ranges in to my tool config file and give it a list of CIDR's. It will generate lightning fast a list of proxies I want to scan. Finally I press once enter and I will trigger 4 instances of that tool and it will scan at 2,4M proxy per day (because one instance is cabable of testing/scanning 600k proxy a day).

The reason I pasted this info is simple, so u know im not bullshitting. I have the video as well to backup the above claim.

Best part of this, all the proxy goes to the database, so instantly whenever a new proxy has been found. It's available on my system. I would say this is quite professional. Usually when I do something, I do it as good I can or I don't do it all.

Was this rock throwing really worth it? proxygo everyone knows your a self proclaimed proxy guru but that doesn't mean no one else knows about proxies too! There is a difference between trying to protect your business and slandering everyone who talks about proxies, a difference between correcting someone and telling someone they are wrong!

actualy lewi if u had followed the last 4 posts u would
have seen this calmed down, u jumped in when this was
over - if this your attempt to re-fan this, its a fail.
my advice is if you wish to slate some1 do when something
is in motion, not when its done

anyways NIXMY u must be in the states, i say this because
a lot of my friends back from 2004-2007 had the same issue
in the states, isp's didnt like port scanning, they were told
stop or be cut off, as for my isp, ive been port scanning since
2003 same isp, never had an issue.. wanna trade ?

just 1 other thing im not disputing your script cant scan 2.4 million
what i said was, as public proxies role about 1-3k
and port scanned 1-20k. having the ability to scan 2.4 million
is like strapping a jet engine to car. looks good sounds great
but not realy any point. as u will never ever ever get over
3k ish public proxies. so 3 million 5 or 2 wont ever matter
because u wont ever get it

It's worth it. Im scanning for proxies that none else can provide. Every effort I made during the past months to build that database is now paying back. It has also other use.

you forgot 1 thing NIXMY

Im scanning for proxies that none else can provide

if you can find them. anyone can with
the right tools..remember that.....

True but for the past six months, I have detected only some out of several hundreds of those proxies being listed in google. I know of course that im not the only one who does scanning but I neither have seen similar lists provided.

It's usually botnet providers who can provide unlisted proxies but due to the nature of botnet proxies, a majority of those proxies are regular DSL/Cable connections. The ones I scan are backbones, dedicated hosting etc. That's why those proxies beat in terms of speed any private proxy provider proxies simply because there's no limits ;)

lewi me and NIXMY
are sorted we had a chat
on skype. end of.

Yeah we're sorted. Rather than arguing I want to concentrate on posting fresh proxies.

Just tested before I posted.

I've PM'ed my Skype to you.

To CL guy, im afraid you must use RDSL for CL. I was reading that sometimes public proxies work on CL which you must verify on your own.
