Market Samurai Keyword Research Module Keeps Crashing

Hey all,

Anyone else experiencing issues with MS' Keyword Research module when trying to analyze keywords?

Other modules (although I haven't tried all of them) seem to be working fine except the Keyword one.

It's happening with me as well.
One thing that i noted that can avoid or at least reduce the chance of crashing is keep the MS window in focus, do not let the window go to background, that means can't use the computer while MS does its job

Unfortunately ms is still buggy and we'll all have to live with it until they sort it out!

I am also experiencing the same problem. I am using MNF until the issue is resolved.

Its the traffic estimator, Google made a change with it causing MS to crash.

Agreed. I notice if its in focus and you do not touch your computer while its generating/analyzing from Adwords, it won't crash..

Another thing you could do is lower the amount of threads/parallels used so that you have less active connections (takes longer the lower it is but at least you wont have to start it up again). Could be google going AWOL if its bugged with too many queries at once

Agree.

When the developer fix one bug, a short time later we have another one.

Meantime i also miss a automatic keyword research, like the most of the others programms has, but it would be great when the can get it more stable.

I too am having an issue. I have a support ticket in with MS but I assume if everyone else is experiencing the same issue they will sort it out.

also experienced the same problem. First i thought that the wireless internet was the3 problem - switched to the wired one - no change. it's frustating when you work at some 50 keywords at a time and MS blocks...

Same problem here, hard to do squat when i cant see is my keywords any good Hope to get this fixed ASAP

Maybe they should compensate us paying customers with a free copy of the article samurai tool for all this hassle.

same problem here, i agree don't let it go to background once it starts bugging out just let it be don't try moving it or anything after a short time it will resume with the search

Got this response from Noble from my support ticket:

"Hi Stuart - Thanks for your email.

This issue seems to be occurring for a number of users since Friday and it stems from Adobe's Webkit crashing when it is allocated more than 2gb of RAM.

We have found that this seems to be resolved by the installation of the beta of Adobe's AIR version 3, which drastically reduces the memory usage of Market Samurai.

Please let me know if this doesn't do the trick! (this mostly seems to affect Windows 7 users, your XP system may or may not be suffering the same problem; once you get the Win7 system back online let me know if you need further help with the other one)

I've tried this fix on both my Win XP & Win 7 and I've its working ok.

My Win XP however gave me a pop up message asking for my adwords account info (which I already had stored) and my Win 7 ran fine with just the normal 100 results without the need to log in with Adwords account.

I too received an email from MS when I sent in my trouble ticket with the same response. Upgraded to Adobe Air 3.0 beta and everything is working properly again.
