Why won't Google index my site?!

I am having the same problem lately with a few sites. Out of the last 50 sites I have built I think 4(1 Amazon store and 3 micro niche sites of 1 has 3 crappy articles and 5 good articles the other are 4 articles) of them have not indexed. They are not all hosted the same place or using the same registar. I have tried various things on them in different combos including types of link building, submitting to webmaster tools, adding fresh content from the last time it was crawled, pinging, etc.. They are indexed in other search engines, the only issue is with google. I am going to change the theme on one of them today and resubmit it. Running out of ideas here as I see nothing wrong with these sites.

I will try agian, but I can tell you I indexed 2 brand new site yesterday same time I was doing yours. they all indexed now.

Thanks for all your effort.

It's probably because of the Amazon descriptions. I need a script that automatically spins the description with readable quality...

But that is only 1 site, of the 4 the other 3 are micro niche sites. I have other amazon niche sites that have indexed no problem. The content is still unique as we write the reviews ourselves.

Do you have unique reviews on this one too?

Damn, site is #4 for main keyword and 1st page bottom for 2nd on Yahoo. But not indexed by Google, despite being crawled over 50 times yesterday and today..

Swiss, I think I know the domain you're referring to. Login to your WP panel and go to Settings > Privacy and make sure it is set to be crawled by search engines.

Hey Hydro ;)

Yeah it's set to be crawled. Check out my last post.

hmm.. Not sure I understand this? The way I read it, it says your site is ranked #4 for one keyword and bottom of the 1st page for the second keyword? There must be some confusion, I don't see how it would be ranking if it was not indexed.

Sorry, forgot to add "in Yahoo".. Thanks for your PM ;)

I am now on #1 for my main keyword on Yahoo..

You know another thing I used to do to speed up the indexing rate, not sure if this still works. I would go to digital point forum and start an account with the same username as the site or something along those lines. I would post a link in my sig with the url and voila, introduce myself and few days later site was picked up. It is a little more strenuous to do now a days because of the days/posts count before you can do what I'm saying, but it worked pretty well for me in the past. Bet it still does as everything there gets picked up really fast!

Thanks, I'll try that out tomorrow. :)

I think you need to check out your content. Google will index fresh pages which "it" thinks unique and has some kind of value to viewers immediately after crawling the pages couple of times. Do following, if you can't index your website, then you need to seriously look at its content.

1. Get few high PR back links. Ideally on home page. It will pass authority to your site and the chance for google to index it will be higher.

2. Check out your domain IP and make sure it is not a shared IP or banned by google. Nowadays uniqueness is everything. There may be some kind of problems you didn't even notice.

3. Verify your website on google webmaster account, then submit a sitemap to google then click Diagnostics tab and click Fetch like Google Bot. Put the web page you would like google to index in the Fetch box then click Fetch. Once you done that, you need to submit the link to index and index the complete webpages.

By doing that, google will revisit your website and the chance to index your page will be very high. So far it works 100% on me.
