Am I Naive? or this is how it works?

Dear BHW members,

Hi Everyone! lately I just started to read this forum intensively. I'm really interested with the idea getting paid for directing people to buy products online. But I do have some newbie questions. Here are the questions:

1. I haven't seen any product that has good reviews. when i browse the products on clickbank, at the same time I also try to find reviews for those products (to see if those products are legit). - I dont want to scam people, i believe karma will bite me back in the future.

2. I've read how some people are saying they write reviews about those products. now, the question is, did you really buy those products and tested them by yourself? or did you just make up stories?

Well what i meant by naive is, am I naive for believing that I can make money selling real products listed on clickbank. or they all just scams, and i have to be a scam artist selling pitching those products to make money.

Clickbank does have a lot of scammy'ish type products (mostly e-books) over hyping customers into the floor.

If you want to keep your good karma, then either pick your products wisely on Clickbank(there are a few good ones) or try a site like CJ.com selling physical goods.

If you don't scam people you will have a hard time making money. By the way, how many times you was scammed? Why don't do the same? At least you will make some money in the process.

Beakon: I did try with CJ, but they didnt accept my application. i guess maybe because when i tried it my blog wasnt fully setup yet. i guess i'll give it a try again. im just confused, if i should apply to CJ first or write a review first and then apply to CJ.

SantaClaus: I dont know... I just dont feel right about scamming people. I was scammed, and I hate it so much, so i dont that to other people. after all like I said, karma will bite me back, and i know that. I just wanna make honest money.

Why dont you approach the owner, ask for a review copy and test it,if you happy you can promote it with your own words, hype it talk about it and sell it with sleeping well at night at the same time...

Just pick up products with gravity over 100. This kind of products are legit and converting ones. Make some money

You know, I replied to your question then left the computer and went in to take a shower. While I was in the shower I kept thinking about your post. Laughing at it yet analyzing it deeply.

I figured I owed you a better response than I gave.

The fact is everything is over marketed and lied about. Every product can make wonders happen. The best liars get the sales and that's how it is in marketing . You are Naive, but more so than you probably know. You probably don't realize that all marketing is boosting bullshit to consumers and less than half of the products are actually good.

We create gold from lead with marketing. It is part of the game. If you don't like it pack your shit and give up. Not only is marketing deceptive but you are on a damn black hat forum.

That's naive strike two.

The only hope you have is to either sit down and read through every review and then make a moral decision. You could also create your own product that you think is of value.

Marketing plays on your emotions, sexual frustrations, self confidence (or lack there of), greed, and all other aspects of human psychology that makes you want to open your wallet for a dream.

Maybe buying a "lose 30lbs in a week" kit will help boost that person's self confidence. Maybe that is the thing that is helping them hang in there and have a little hope in their obese no friend life.

You can look the situation in any way but at the end of the day. What is in your wallet? Are you financially secure? Do you want to play the game or not?

Starcity83 - Humn... that's a good point to some degree. "if you dont know the truth about it, you dont scam." almost like "dont ask dont tell" policy.

Executivecloser - wow... so you personaly do them them all huh? that must cost you a fortune to test each products you pitch online. do you really make more than what you've spent?

Age a blog first and make it look nice. Don't set up a newb blog and expect people to accept you into their programs. Do research and learn how others set up their blogs. Look at your competitors. I once saw a blog on barefoot shoes and was stunned. The guy was hitting 1 million / day visitors using wp. Go to their sourcecode and fish out every theme / plugin they use.
I can now whip up a fully functional wp that looks aged in minutes. Turn on some autoblog plugin and within days I'll have content and be found on Google. Then you should start applying.

Haha. Just because a product is popular doesn't mean that it is legit. A lot of make money online courses are complete garbage and they sell really well on Clickbank.

The best you can do to see if a product is legit is to:
A) Buy it and take a look for yourself
B) Go read complaints from customers. There are a crap ton of these sites and you'll quickly see if the product is quality or not. Just remember...

Just because there are complaints, doesn't make something a scam. Lots of people like to gripe and complain on the Internet and that is about all that they do - which is why someone has probably said something bad about every product being sold online.

I wouldn't take the 100 gravity post seriously. Gravity just basically means how many copies were sold and how fast. It does not give you anything about the quality of the product, as you can sell every garbage with good marketing and/or a lot of traffic.
