Mate, without going into detail its not the sort of site that requires new content daily. It had 1 page for a year and makes me more than $500 a month. I have added 3 pages and its dropped in ranking.

It is NOT a blog or even a niche site but very targeted content so saying add new content daily to a site that had 1 page for a year and was no.1 is imo not the right solution!

Are you sure it isn't a coincidence? I mean G ranking at a complex (and probably somewhat random) issue. Correlation doesn't always mean causation. If I were you I would wait a week or two and see what happens.

I always have the same problem when I add new content, always makes me worry whether or not the sites will pop back, some do but i'va had sites that don't pop back and fall back to page 4-5 and stay there....and this is all from adding new content its a real concern, its almost as if my sites are flying under the radar on page 1 but when I add new content big G takes a closer look at them and sometimes decides that they don't belong there, which is odd as all my sites get 100% unique content.

No coincidence since if you read my post again i said it happened with 4 different sites!

Yeah, will give it a week or so and remove the articles and set back to how it was when no.1 if no progress.

Seriously, it's probably just coincidence. You'd have probably dropped ranking even if you didn't add any unique content.

As others have said, you're probably just dancing a little. It happens to the best of us. Don't worry too much, keep working on the site and you'll regain position.

i have a site every single time i add any content it drops from 1 spot down to 90ish but the recent time i added it dropped off all charts for weeks then just came back at 3 spot. its odd the other 2 competing sites add everyday and are way more active. i just happen to have the exact keyword domain they don't. i leave that site alone and it does fine

Hello, here is my two cents as working as an off site SEO specialist. Basically what i believe has happend without looking at your site is googles last cache of your site will have been before the panda update (maby even the caffine depending on when the content before last was added), and with you now adding new content it has pinged the SE bots to revisit your site using the newer algorithm which has resulted in your site showing less value.

Does this make sense?

Sorry but i was no.1 until i added new content to 4 different sites and all lost ranking is the point. Not that i am trying to outrank someone but the point is that i was already outranking the competition until i added content!!
