Yea, wondering how much lower people can go. I'm ranking #1 for a term for which there are a large number of competitors. Little by little I came to outrank all of them & they try hard & can't get me.
One of them apparently got pissed off & blasted my site with scrapebox about a month ago. I saw like 5K extra backlinks suddenly appearing in site explorer when I only do little backlinking for it & high quality links only, so I got curious & checked them.

The good news: I'm still number one. :D
The bad news: This moron is obviously capable of dick moves, so I kinda doubt it's gonna stop with this blast.

say thanks for the free links :) lol why to wonder :D? how much I`m praying to get such retards to blast free my sites too ... other peoples I can bet they need more links too lol ... maybe we can have a thread where we can request our sites to be blast for free :)?

Get yourself a copy of xrumer and get him some links and profiles in hardcore sex sites LOL J/K

Actually if you have a half decent site then his backlinks would do you more good than harm. The guy obviously doesn't know what he is doing but I agree, watch out for his next move.

Just noticed he also included the sites that are on the 2nd & 3rd spot, so it didn't affect them either.

Haha awesome. Wish someone would do that to my sites. Be sure to thank him :)

You've just got free links. Congratulation :) Your competitor is certified idiot.

Congrats on the free links. Is it possible he has the same domain with a different extension?

There's actually nothing to worry about - rather be happy.

Even if you site leaves the #1 spot for a week or so, it will be back there with even more power. Let the scumbag do his shit... You've got free labor lol :D

How are you certain it was that particular individual who blasted your site?

It happens, you just keep building nice and quality back links and he won't be able to touch your rankings :) that's obvious build more quality links than trash and you win the war!

Was the volume of links enough to think that your site will dance or get sandboxed, thus resulting in a short term loss of income?

How long have you been number 1?

It's funny, I remember reading a post about somebody SB blasting a competitor's site with shitty backlinks. The competitor went down in rankings for about 7 days, and then took the #1 spot.

Backlinks don't seem to matter as much after the latest shift, so I doubt there's anything to worry about
