PHPLD/ PHP Link Directory

I have come across two basic footprints for PHP Link Directories:

"Powered by PHPLD"

and

"Powered by: PHP Link Directory"


Are these the same platform, or different?


Sounds like a basic question I know but I need to make sure before I commit to a big harvest.

LOL, I dont know but I took "Powered by PHPLD" and put it in that thing called Google, and guess what was #1?

EDIT: I guess you could of meant that you understand they are made by the same company, but maybe they are different cores. Be like Social Engine from 3.? to 4.? They are different, yet they are both Social Engine.

In that case, I dont know, but at least I was willing to go try and find out, but I did give up quickly.

Thanks Charles - I am just wondering for link harvesting purposes. I don't need to make a site using the script or anything, I just need to mass submit to them using Xrumer. There is a PHPLD mod going around that I wonder can submit to sites using either footprint.

am developing an app that post auto post to this directory link, can anybody help me with knowing if my submission was successfult, i can post the sode if necessary.

The website don't tell you anything when its no successful, except if there is errors, and again they don't tell you if you have submitted before, thus not knowing if it was successful or i have submitted before

If they have an online demo, then you could post to that, then login to the demo to check it server side.

SeoMoz would tell you that over time. If you are just selling a service based on the number of links you get for a customer I have to say you don't understand SEO yet. I am not saying you are doing this, but helping you not proceed down a long hard road.
