Hi , im asking BHatters to let me know the cost of cigarettes / rolling tobacco in your country, pls. list the top 5 of each , and there pirces.

im looking for a JV if the prices are right

thx.

EDITED ..... ORIGINALS ONLY. THX.

In Chicago, they are like $8-10 per pack. The carton might run you almost $60. I am not sure about the rolling kinds

It's not as simple as you think. If you get caught selling one states prepackaged tobacco in another state it's a federal crime.

I know because I work at a smoke shop for the past few years and the State Board of Equalization does a annual check up on a random day to make sure all of our California stamps on the bottom of all the cigarette packs are real or fake.

Rolling tobacco is harder to trace here because they arent stamped, and so they just ask for proof of purchase, as in vendor receipts.

A good venture would be in the blunt wraps, and/or cheap cigars.

To answer your question, Marlboro is about 5.50$ here.

wow , i always thought usa was cheap , $60 a carton is around prices in the uk.

im looking to buy cheap ones to re-sell. i can already buy them at $28 , i am still looking to better it. this inc. post also.

in my country:
marlboro - 2.8$
davidoff - 3.1$

local brand.. 1$

:D:D:D

btw.. why dont u buy them online.. there are plenty of websites shipping cheap cigarettes from all over the world..

Kent (all tms): < $4
Marlboro (all varieties): < $4
Pretty much every other brand: Pall Mall, Davidoff, Winchester, Vogue, Uno, etc.: <$4/pack of 20 cigs.

However, exporting this stuff (without a firm + legal consent) it's pretty damn hard. In my country when you pass the border, you are limited to a maximum of 3 cartouches (30 packs equivalent of 600 cigs).

Even if I tie you up with a supplier over here, it still would be risky to sell them in your country.

You would still be required to either pay VAT or otherwise, postal services x-ray goods, and if you're caught with sending what's on their BL, the goods will be destroyed sooner or later. All postal services have a list of what you can send freely, there are other things (such as perishable goods, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.) for which you need documents. Others, ammunition, radioactive materials, biological waste, live animals etc. you're not allowed to mail.

I'm in New York (USA) and they are pretty heavily taxed here. Top name brands sell for $11 per pack or $100 a carton (10 packs or 200 cigs). However we can purchase them from Indian Reservations (Native American Indian) at half that price. They have cigs as cheap as $10 per carton. They are exempt from certain laws here so it might be worth it to investigate a Native American Indian supplier. Not sure how you find one but I could ask next time I'm at the reservation.

wow $40 per 200 carton is alot less then uk. but the uk only allow 200 / 1 carton to be send legally , and the package needs to have it listed.

price in kansas is 1/2 that in new york... and lower at the reservations around here as well. Not sure if it would be better served to try a place like minnesota that has larger (and more) reservations as well.

Serbia, they go around 1.5euro, max 2euros

in my country MArlboro 1.5$ Winston 1$ and Sobranie 2.5$

Im in Canada and live near a reserve. Smokes start at $9 for a bag of 200 and go up to around $35. Premium brands are around $60. Off reserve packs of 25 go from $7.50-10.50.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your method, how it does not break customs entry laws.

Never bought a pack or carton but I know it will cost a maximum of 5 cents per cigarette.

in Australia it's about $12.50 for a pack of brand name 20's - thats why I gave up

We went to Amsterdam in the car. 3 of us and none of us smoke. So we go past this place in Belgium. It's like a warehouse filled with cheap tobacco and cigarettes. I do the maths and stuff the car with those blocks of rolling tobacco. Basically they paid for my 4 day stay in a 5 star hotel and expenses. If you live in UK you can just make a quick trip, it's 40 minutes from Calais and buy the shit yourself. Stock up on booze too.

Edit: On a side note my buddy buys cigarettes online. They ship them from some other country and the limit is only 2 packs. So he buys some every other day. It works out very cheap. I'm not sure if it's legal or not but they are making a tone of money.
