Hi everyone, in 2-3 weeks I start my seo company where i'll only do services with sub contracting.

So here is my question, i want to know if I buy services from fiverr, or from BHW services, can i get an invoice ? For example, if I pay with paypal company account, where to find the invoices ?

Thanks

Great question !

I don't think i am concerned with the kind of the company i own but still.

Replies would be greatly appreciated

well if you pay for it with paypal you should have a receipt from paypal and fiverr. however you prob wont want to show your clients fiverr receipts cause they will catch on to the fact your basically ripping them off

No i wont show the invoice from fiverr or the other service, it's for my company i need the invoice. For the clients i'll send my invoice (higher of course) but i need to have the invoices because i pay with the company account and i need to justify the money gone.

OP.. depends on your service provider and the agreement you have with them. Understand one thing though, a guy from fiverr is more keen to make the quick buck and you can't expect an invoicing from MOST seo providers there. The services itself might be lame, so expecting an invoice but be too much to expect.

And, if someone has a process to prepare invoices manually and send them every week or fortnight, he might be a pretty big outsourcing guy, and prices would be a little on the higher side.

So if a guy sell swimming pool online (company) and want to do some SEO, he needs to pay the services from fiverr or other services with his personal account because he cant get an invoice that he absolutely need for his company spending ?

You'll have to check your local legislation, but in the UK a paypal receipt is adequate proof.

Are you sure of this ? So in Belgium, France and Germany it should be the same right ?

As I said you'll have to check local legislation, but I am 100% certain that it is fine in the UK as I don't chase people for such small invoices I just submit my Paypal receipt and my accountant said it was all good.

so i can explain how i do it... german company... i buy services on bhw with private paypal account. later if i go private shopping i buy something like flowers, pencil or fuel for my car (payment high same then bhw services) and take the bill inside company and transfer money from company account back to private account.
so i have an invoice for something which i used private but i bought private service for company :-)

In theory you should be able to request invoices from Fiverr, since they're the ones receiving money from you. The service providers receive their money from Fiverr as well, so if Fiverr needs invoices they request them from the service providers.

In Italy not, and this is my big problem!

In the invoice I need the VAT ID # or whatelse but, for example, even Senuke X doesn't provide it.

You need to talk with your accountant and ask him all you need to know!

Your paypal reciept will act as your invoice. You just need to tally up to what service that money was for.

Doesnt have to be nice and pretty. Just needs to be ligit

But the Paypal receipt I get from Fiverr doesn't contain the name of the seller company (Fiverr International Limited), and the billing address of Fiverr.

It only says that I sent $5 to fiverr.com. how can a domain name (fiverr.com) issue a valid invoice?

Fiverr is a legally registered entity.

That works as a legal invoice.

I only see fiverr.com on the invoice. Is fiverr.com a legally registered entity?

I think Fiverr also should display their company registration number/tax ID, and the billing address.

I searched for Fiverr on the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS), here is what I got:
http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4003:l4in6i.2.1

here is their name and address:
Fiverr International Ltd. CORPORATION ISRAEL 14 HaMelacha Street, Bina Bldg., Fl. 2 Binyamina ISRAEL 30500

Shouldn't they include the above line on the invoices???

All I know is this: when my company sells something, I always must issue an invoice and include my full company name, address and tax registration number.

Is anyone here from Israel? Could you check whether the Fiverr invoice is valid in Israel, or not?

The Fiverr Paypal invoice is definately not valid.

It contains only "fiverr.com" as the seller name. It doesn't contain their company name and adress.

Domain names are not legal entities and cannot issue invoices. Also their company name is not fiverr.com, but Fiverr Interntaional Limited, however their company name is not found on the invoice.

And there is no way to tell where this invoice is coming from, from which country. They don't disclose that they are located in Israel. So you cannot check the validity of this invoice. For example there are countries where the electronic invoices must be signed digitally by the issuer and must have a digital time stamp. How do you know that Fiverr isn't located in such country? They don't disclose their company name and address on the invoice, on their website, they even have hidden domain whois data.

So this proves that the Fiverr invoice could be invalid.

If you have a corporation and a business Paypal account, you would better buy services from Fiverr using your personal Paypal account, and not your business Paypal account.

Just download some customizable invoice template from bestgfx.com and you're all good to go :P

HA! I got a proper invoice from Fiverr, would you believe it? It is a PDF file which contains their company name and address (they are registered in Israel), and also their company registration number. The invoice also contains my company billing details and the invoice bar code.

So it means that the Fiverr Paypal receipt is not a valid invoice, dont rely on them.

If your accountant needs an invoice from you after your Fiverr purchases, then you cannot send the Paypal receipts to your accountant.

After back and forth emailing with Fiverr I managed to squeeze from them the following information:

The Paypal receipt is not a valid invoice. If you paid for a fiverr gig using your business Paypal account and your accountant needs an invoice, then do not send the Paypal receipts to your accountant.

Contact the Fiverr customer support and ask for a monthly aggregate invoice from them, and also send them your company billing details.
