Cancel Fiverr purchase order?

Hi guys,

I just ordered a gig on Fiverr by accident. I wasn't aware that funds will be deducted automatically after clicking on the Order button.

I know you can cancel an order if you're the seller but is there any way to cancel the order from a buyers perspective?

I haven't provided the seller with the required info needed so will I get my funds credited back if I just wait it out?

You can request the seller for a mutual cancel....most sellers are cool about those sort of things. Just say you misunderstood the gig

Do you know what happens if the seller doesn't do that? Where do the funds go afterwards?

You can e-mail fiverr and tell them of the mistake. You might not get the cash back, but at least they'll most likely give you $5 in credit to use for another fiverr gig

in your order page there is a "got problems" tab. Click it and try to cancel it from there. You have to put a reason in the dialog box. Be very friendly there! Say something like, OMG I'm really new to this fiverr thing and I didn't mean to place any order. Can you please cancel it?
Usually the seller will accept because the do not want bad reviews!!
If he refuses, which is not very likely, mention the bad reviews... and they will cancel it right away

Yea, If the seller does not make it seen like he/she completed your order by the time his requirement to complete the task runs out then you can just get your money back. On the other hand, if his requirement time is a long time just contact fiverr and let them no what happen and they will refund it for you.

Many sellers on Fiverr are serious and have understanding for mistakes of this type. Just PM the seller and tell him your situation. I'm sure he will be glad refunding you.

See, it happens. Like sometimes when any unwanted service is being activated on our cell phone
And some amount of money is deducted from our mobile account then we get scared. But if talk
To Our mobile service provider & tell them that it happened without our accent .They will return

From my own recent experience I don't think you will get a payment refund from Fiverr.

As far as I know Fiverr will simply credit your account with $5.00.

I guess that if you want your money back, contact Fiverr support and explain everything.

I Don' t know why people start commenting on two year old thread its been resolved i guess and we should not discuss a lot on this as fiverr has changed a lot in the past two years in terms on buyers and sellers prospective.
