Get THOUSANDS of Backlinks using Google Alerts.

This is a pretty old "trick" and a lot of you probably know about it. But if you don't here you go..

The Google Alerts trick simply works like this:

Anytime Google finds a new blog that's related to your keyword, it notifies you about it via email (or a feed)

So what you can do is, take that list, load it in Scrapebox and check the PR of all of them. It shouldn't take very long at all. Then, just take the High PR blogs and take a minute to write a legitimate comment.

Now you're getting High PR, relevant backlinks to your website. It'll really only take a handful of these backlinks for you to outrank a website with thousands and thousands of spammy links.

Here's how to create a Google Alert

1) Go here: http://www.google.com/alerts
2) Type in your keyword.
3) In "Type", select Blog (or Discussion but that'll give you a list of forums)
4) Click "Create Alert"


And you're done! Rinse and repeat and you'll be dominating your keyword.

The posts are new, yes. But if the domain has a high pr, it still might flow through.

No just new posts containing your keyword on old blogs

thank you for the tip I use google alerts and never even tough about something like these, for those that know isn't there a code you can add so you only get blogs that follow something like "- {nofollow}" can any one help?

Surprised not many people know this, it's been around for ages. Nonetheless its a nice way of finding blogs and sites to comment on. But I'm not too sure if it's the best use of your time.

Seems good but has got lots of drawbacks that will take an immense amount of your time.

First of all, g never gives you a full list of blogs,

second, in a day you may get 5 alerts from 5 different sites but sometimes it gets all the alerts from the same site.

Third, all those sites are so reluctant to publish your comment and it is not certain that your comment will also be counted as a backlink.

finally, You have to spend lots of time to get those unique URLs from all alerts and it is not an easy job.

So much time consuming.

This is a good way (nofollow or not) to round out a link profile in a non-spammy way. G follows nofollow regardless of what they say - they may discount them but they count. This is less for link juice and more about getting links from a relevent blog (on average). Also if your commenting to a new post on an estblished blog you might get some traffic, build your brand a bit. This is more of a whitehat take on this.

Remember, sometimes ideas you find here can be used in other ways - be creative.
