Very true...

But who cares...honestly. No offense.

Think about this...imagine its a week before the Iphone is about to be released and you followed all the steps I explained. A few days prior to the release of the iphone your site goes live...the mad search engine rush for "iphone" begins. Your site gets its hits, you make sales voila!

If your site converts, you just made a $x,xxx amount of money 3-4 days.

Find a new and hot product...start all over again. This is does require work...its kind of mundane but worth it. This will allow you to begin investing in other ventures...so eventually you won't have to do this. This is more of a short term approach of making money.

Hoot

I think you are confused, 6th position in serps does not mean pr6.
PR is something different, anyway, never mind, i was just intrigued by your statement.

Nick, you are correct...not PR6. PR1. Only for a few days. Eventually I was penalized for the keyword usage and shitty sitemap and dropped of the serps.

OK - here is a method for getting URL's to post to that I am trying out now. You can find some free downloads here on the forum, such as for Bookmarking Demon, or All Day Sucker - both of them have URL harvesters built in that are pretty good. I am using Bookmarking Demon for this little experiment.

Your goal: To get highly relevant .edu or .gov domains for your niche to load and post into PRSTORM, and get rid of the useless list that comes with the program.

In Bookmarking Demon, I am using the harvester this way: I am loading up a URL with a .gov extension that is relevant to my niche....i.e...widgets.gov. I set the harvester to go 3 levels deep - this is returning me 1000's of URL's all linked to the .gov site. Pretty simple - just copy them into the URLS text file - and load up PRSTORM.

My test: I have loaded 4 pages of an adsense site, with other monetization on it from CJ and Azoogle. The 4 pages consist of 2 sitemap pages, for deeper indexing - as well as two money pages within the site. These pages are all relevant to the "widgets" niche I am harvesting URL's for now.

I will get back in a day or so and let you know the results I get.

I am testing it - currently 9% lets see what happens, my site already gets about 2K-3K uniques.. I would also liketo see your results..

Update: Well, after I did this post - I came to a late realization that using the harvesters on BMD and All Day Sucker were not going to work - because they pull URL's from a base URL - i.e. - they are all the same domains. Something tells me that might not be a good idea with PRStorm. So - I am now using IPB (Internet Business Promoter) to harvest URL's based on keywords - which I think is probably safer, and more effective to boot since the sites I harvest will be much more diverse yet relevant to my site. SEO Elite will also perfomr this function - however, SEO Elite does not add the http:// in front of the URL's, which PRStorm seems to require. I am sure some simple edits will fix that problem.

So - I have now builit up about 3k URL"s using IPB - and will kick off PRStorm later this morning to test it out. Will let you know the results, if any, in a day or so.

Serps have nothing to do with page rank . You are confusing page rank for serps position .

It has been mentioned a couple of times but I recon you did not see it.

I don't undertand the word "serps"

SERPs = Search Engine Results Pages, This thread is over a year old.

Hmm, I am starting to doupt adsense. If you get only 50 bucks for 2450 visitors, wouldn't it be better to promote CB products or other affiliate products on the site? It would yield much more money.

I don't undertand the word "serps"
search engine results positions
There are a lot of threads about this software all over the forum
And I must have read them all

More to the point is Targeting Facts about PRstorm
What seems to be happening here is most people are harvesting URL lists to .gov or .com sites without even knowing if that site is publishing stats to the search engines or not

And spamming away with no more thought put into it, Or are going a one step more and doogling some think like ?Created by awstats? or ?Generated by Webalizer Version ? using the resulting URLS to spam

Which is better but not going to hack it.
As you will still get back links from unrelated domains which is a really waste of time in my eyes.
And will get your host bombarded with hate mail complaints
And some nice guy sending in a spam report to doogle
Which would account for some guys saying it don't work

For any one that don't understand that
Then I don't think you should not be using this tool without leaning a more about it

Well I set it up a new domain about 500 pages without any links going to it and run prstorm against it with 2000 URLS twice in a week
These where not targeted URLs just random ones
But I did know they where publishing to the search engines
At this time I hadn't found a way of targeting niche URLS
(Now all this running % crap people are talking about on here shows how little they know/think about it the % is just the size of the URL list pasted into Prstorm which is of no help to anyone without knowing if there are running 100 or a million URLS)
If there are using the default list that come with it then forget them I'm just not going there.

Anyway 21 days later have about 50 visitors a day from doogle
Sales zip but this is a test and it's on a adult domain which I think makes it a little harder
Back links showing from the Doogle toolbar link command none
But from a doogle command I'm NOT willing to share/give away two hundred

Let's make it clear what this tool is for Making Back Links
ITS Not FOR sending you traffic as some seem to think
Back links to help you rank for your keywords

So your going to need a keyword rich URL for this to work
As this is your only control over the anchor text
(Yes the URL is your anchor text)
This has not been said in any of the posts on the forum
But it's is a fact

And this is what you put in to the Referrers tab on Prstorm
So make sure your URL is keyword Rich

The next tab is the URL List
Most people just paste all the URLS into the Prstorm URL Text Document
As it would take forever adding them one by one
Note if you have Prstorm open you will need to close it then reopen it
To update the list

Now this is the first problem how to get a URL list that's relevant to your niche
Well for me all the URL harvesters I used just did not hack it
The best way I have found to date is doogling inurl:yourkeyword +usage_200810
Change the date as needs be
Domains retuned are in my niche yes the problem there are to few of them
Which means doing long tail keyword searches it build up the list
THIS REALLY needs improving it's just to slow
And god damn boring

Next tab is the User Agents
Never played with this but I take it the software will just pull and use a random ones?

Next tab is the proxies

I use W3.ip-adress.com/ipaddresstolocation/
To feel this in scroll down the page and find the line saying
My Proxy: None / Highly Anonymous [Proxychecker]
Click on Proxychecker and you can make/check your own list
If you need more doogle proxy list

Stuff you need to know
Free proxy are not that reliable
So you need to keep checking/updating your list
You need to be using Elite proxies only
I have read that if Prstorm hits a proxy that is NOT WORKING it will default back to your own IP address for the rest of that run.

Next tab is the URL Harvester
As I said no joy with this for me

Next is the Settings Tab
This is one more where it gets a little tricky

Hits per URU

Seems simple how many hits to send to each URL
But over do it and the server could take it as a DOS (denial of service attack)
Which I'm guessing would make the server block you to protect its self
Myself I set this between 20 and 40
As having to make two or four runs seems better then getting blocked
We need a server buff to clear this point up

Next is the number of threads
I just leave this at 40

Next is Use proxy
I check this

Then comes the socket timeouts
The default is 2
I think this is the response from the server you are pinging/sending a hit too
So I set it to 25 as 2 seems too low when using proxies
If I am correct this could all so be a reason it's not working for some people
Damn where's that server buff that knows about this stuff

Good god seems I ended up writing a book

If nothing else, I agree that PR Storm is a fairly useful tool. Build up a huge list, get a bunch of proxies, and let it do it's thing.
