Alright i have a minor, yet VERY annoying bug to report. I hope it get's fixed as soon as possible! :)

Alright so i made a .txt file with all my answers, and it goes like this:

Answerhere:Source here

Which is fine.. BUT.. it bugs when i do this:

Answerhere:http://www.myUrlHere.com

In the program it shows the source as: http

So i guess that ":" fucks it up for the program .. So no matter what i manually have to add: http:// before the actual url to make it clickable on YA.

Annoying :/ I hope you understand what i mean..

//Marcdk

EDIT:

Another annoying thing.. Why isn't it possible to load proxies from a .txt file? Copying and pasting them one by one into the program is tedious!

Are aware of the ':' issue. You can just use www. instead in the meantime.

You can load proxies from a .txt file, hit the import button on the proxies tab.
The format of your .txt needs to be

Code:
IP:Port
IP:Port

(or if you have username/password)

IP:Port:Username:Password
IP:Port:Username:Password

Working on it! :) In fact we have a number of REALLY cool updates releasing either today or Monday, so stay tuned.

Cool i think im going to wait for the "bad answer skip" to be implamented cause its driving me insane lol.. but awesome so far

Its also an issue for me. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Alright cool, but when i use: www the links is NOT clickable, which is a huge problem :) Until you get it fixed i might just do it manually.

Thanks for the quick responce though ;)

No problem, it's no biggie. Production is on THE way! :) There is no slowing AA down, over the month as more priority is devoted to AA (more team members are being hired), updates will be jam-packed with BIG features.

In the future, send me reports to my email or via PM. It's easier and quicker for me to read them that way.

The Software is good, just a little buggy/laggy but that is to be expected in any peice of software this early on in its development. The customer service provided by this guy is great which scores big points in my book. If you want to market Y!A i definitively recommend this tool.

@renegaderats

Thanks! We are constantly working on streamlining the experience, and if the best practice tips and FAQ is followed usually any lag should be minimized. But further improvement are on the way!

In fact, after a short brain storming session, Ezine/Article scraping by keyword is firmly on the agenda ;)

Rick, I just received the accounts. I imported them to AA and found that i am unable to successfully check all the levels of the 5 accounts at once. It will stop after just checking one account, although the process says its still checking 1/5. I had to check one by one.

The previous issue of AA crashing when answering many questions at once is still not solved, it seems. When i refresh the Best Answer list, i wait a long time, like 10 minutes but it does not show anything. It is still checking for the first account on the list.

I go to Posted Answers and use a Level 2 account to select an Answer as Best Answer but it did not work. Did i do something wrong here.

Thanks.

@tgpycq

How many questions are you trying to answer at once? As of now there should be no issue with selecting a best. We are just in the process of releasing a bigger update with a lot of the things people asked for earlier. Give it a couple of hours and check again if you experience any problems send me an email as I will be able to deal with it quicker :)

Here are the rules you need to follow for selection:

One hour after you have posted a question, Yahoo Answers allows you to select a ‘best answer' from one of the responses. In Answer Assault you need to choose the account that posted the question from the drop down list on the ‘Posted Questions/Answers Page' then select your answer, and press the ‘select as best answer' button. If no error message appears, that answer would be chosen as best answer and the account would receive 10 points.

It's recommended that you have a US IP for selecting as best. However, it can be done just as easily if you reside elsewhere. Check the box where it says ‘show debug window' and then hit the select as best answer button. You'll see the program going through its process and then stop on the page where the choose as best answer is displayed. Click it from within the debug window, and you're done!

Thanks
Rick

EDIT: Just undergoing some short scheduled maintenance, your clients may be in accessible for the next 10-15 minutes.

Only chose like 20 at once. I went back to choose for best answer after a few days.

Why use the same poster who posted the question to ALSO vote on the same answer? Shouldn't it be another account who votes it for best answer?

Rob, I have another problem now. When I start AA, it says that my copy is not registered. When i try to reenter my serial key, it says that it is already registered to someone else and is not valid!

Edit: I now realise that this could be due to the maintenance you were talking about. Sorry.

Yup, just finalizing some server maintenance - in about a day it will be done for goood! :)

If you wait more than four days to select a best answer the answer goes into voting stages, and can no longer be selected as best. You have a window of about one hour after it was posted to just before four days.

You are selecting as best answer, not voting from inside the program. You need to use the account that asked the question to select it as best.

EDIT: New Answer Secrets report has been sent to all users, check your emails!

- Other minor enhancements in preparation for tomorrow's update!

Hi rickstar,

I was told that Yahoo answers now randomly inputs Flash cookies on a user's PC is this correct? Also, will there be a procedure to delete this cookie already in place to delete it?

Looking forward to the update when assigning proxies and uploading the files then pressing submit, while it cycles through all the answers/questions.

Thanks.

@glasha

With the discount it is $74 at the moment, but from time to time, I run special offers too.

@Albert

The program will automatically clear cookies, each time it logs out of an account (or as set by a time basis). Just finalizing yesterday's beta release (1.0.9.6) so that for today we can have a ready to go version with assigned proxies and much much more!

VERSION 1.0.9.5b RELEASED!

We currently have about three separate servers powering AA for optimal speed, one of them was lagging up over the past month (constant maintenance work was required). So, out with the old, in with the new I say!

This update is HIGHLY recommended as it will be what all future updates are set against.

The program will now check for licensing information at a different database/server. This should significantly speed up load up times and general usage.

Version 1.0.9.7 releasing tonight!

Thanks,
Rick

EDIT: Out of the 500+ users, one or two might get their serial keys deactivated in the move. If for some reason this is you, just shoot me an email and I'll reactivate it.Lookin' good!

VERSION 1.0.9.7b RELEASED!
(Not the full 1.0.9.8 - which is supposed to have assigned proxies, that's tomorrow)

Changelog - including all additions from the 1.0.9.6 beta release, 1.0.9.5b, and more.

- Posted by Question and Answer now displayed on the posted questions page. Should be much more efficient finding an account that posted something and managing your entire campaign.

- Multiple fixes for the Account Creation (You might need to get use to this first, but it is more accurate and technically efficient than the way it was done before).

- No longer saves to list unless successfully created
- Was missing out the security question on machines in some countries - Fixed!
- When using automatic creation, if captcha incorrect, it retries until it gets it.

- 'Stop' button added for best answer selection. It should now be easier to navigate and stop and any process involving best answers. Should remove any lag.

- Debug window made larger and is now usable in addition to automatic processes.

- Fixed minor issue with question titles not appearing in posted questions list

- Some other minor enhancements and GUI tweaks.

Tomorrow's updates will include.

- Assigned proxies (long awaited) Set a proxy per account to work with, keeps things more legitimate. This will be beta.

- Fix for check level when selecting multiple accounts at once

- Bad answer skip. If a bad question/answer or account is detected it will remove it and then continue on without stopping your entire posting process.

- Import Question/Answer separator will change to | instead of : so that you can import links in your source more easily.

We might also be switching download servers once things have quietened down to speed regular usage.

My software isn't working anymore. It said it was unregistered. when i put the serial key it said activation failed. I sent you an email also.
