Comments on Blogs use "nofollow", how to do it then?

nofollow links are also useful if you need to sell links of make exchanges... other people go checking your BL on yahoo site explorer, they see 10000+ BL, dont check them 1 by 1 and just think: "wow"! without seeing that they are all spammy blog comments. so you can get good link exchanges for your good site!

ScrapeBox support told me no-follow links are good but not as good as do-follow.

Soo I would suggest blasting whatever because in the end it both have benefits.

I'm going to have to ask you if you have any verifiable, credible data to back that up? Last time I checked, having a low number of nofollow links was a surefire way to not be doing so well in SERPS.

Everything keeps saying how 'NOFOLLOW' still count as backlinks, but just dont carry PR - But here is Mr Cutts himself telling you that NOFOLLOW will not have any effect on serps and will not be counted. Cant' get much clearer than that!

And thats why I dont bother leaving any of my links on sites that are NOFOLLOW

I wouldn't really expect Mr Cutts, or Google Webmasters support to say anything else. It is in their own best interests to attempt to prevent people from gaming the SERPs by spreading disinformation about how they calculate SERPs. In terms of actual studies, I would point towards something like http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors#metrics-1 "sites that have very few nofollowed links compared to followed links may underperform" We can't take the position that NoFollow links do help SERPs, but the lack of them certainly does no good to a sites rankings.

Stop focusing so much on "do-follow" or "no-follow", build your links and watch your rankings grow. You'll be amazed on how much you can accomplish by ignoring the "do/no-follow" attribute when link-building.

These calims are not necessarily true. NoFollow was introduced to discourage link spam; it was never intended to give webmasters powers to prevent others from ranking lol. SEO is not something that search engines encourage. But since they can't stop webmasters attempting to gain positions unnaturally they have a very good reason to try and confuse said webmasters.

Specifically with links, there is a very good need to lie about it: other than counting backlinks, currently there is no better way to automatically determine whether some website is useful. So for example I have to be a complete moron to ignore when CNN.com points to some site. No, actually I wouldn't care at all if it is nofollow AND will treat it as dofоllow in this case. I mean CNN is not some amateurish PR2 blog so chances are the link is actually pointing to some very, very useful stuff. Unless of course it is some blackhatter but with big sites the statistical chances are not that big.

So I hope it is clearer now why I think it is not logical to potentially ignore very high ranking 'votes' esp. if your position as a dominant search engine relies on counting such votes.
