Every morning i say my prayer to God so he helps me get one more rep+ point today and keep my enemies who rep- away from my soul :angel:lol. Seriously now, the point was not that i might run out of rep. I like to help those who are just starting because i remember how shitty it was for me when I started. If somebody gives rep- then he should have a different opinion than you on a matter so he should give you rep- and say why he thinks you deserve a rep- and what he thinks. I don't mind getting rep- from somebody and him saying to me "you are a moron, this is why: ...". That's constructive. Giving rep- when nobody can see who you are is kinda coward and by no means constructive.

lol. I don't think you have much to worry about regarding your rep. :cool2:

You're obviously getting a lot more positive rep than not so it really isn't a huge issue for you to worry about. The occasional neg rep is gonna happen, but it would take a lot of negs to do your rep much damage at this point.

I know what you mean about it being kind of annoying, I've even posted a few specific neg reps in the past just so I could answer to what was said. But I've tried to keep it about the comment itself. Other than that though I don't think it's worth making a big deal about.

Reputation is really just a popularity poll anyway. Overall it's better to just try to make good posts and then your rep should take care of itself.

Rep doesn't mean much, really.

Some people get rep by being helpful and answering questions. That's good rep.

Other people are annoying rep whores who post other people's stuff, sometimes breaking rules of the forum but it doesn't matter, they get tons of rep and thanks (even though a mod is forced to come in and alter their share links). Not only do they not get banned for wasting a mod's time, they come away with a huge amount of rep and thanks.

Literally, all you got to do around here to get good rep is to go to other blackhat forums, wait for someone to post something, run back over here and check the do not share list, if its not on there, repost it. Rinse and repeat for a month you've got hundreds of thanks and rep for doing nothing other than mooching off other people's work.

Meanwhile, there's people spreading what can be considered misinformation on the boards. There's strong arguments against whatever snake oil they're peddling, but you can't contradict them without fear of getting penalized.

Just about anyone is allowed to come on BHW and say they love xrumer, or they hate it ... nobody cares. Same with senuke x. Same with scrapebox. Some people love it, some people hate it ... whatever nobody cares.

But if you have a criticism of someone's technique who is a high member of the board, you're not allowed to post a thoughtful, well laid out, well researched contradiction of what that member says. The post gets deleted. If you push the issue, you very well could be facing a ban, or negative rep. So in other words, you could be extremely helpful to people and end up with negative rep.

So what does rep mean? Pretty much nothing. People who deserve it don't get enough. People who do nothing but search another forum and paste it here like it was their own hard work or investment rake in too much rep. People who go against higher ups get negative rep.

The only solution is to go with the flow, don't step on too many higher member's toes even when you see something being said that is BS, or some product that is snake oil, just say nothing. After enough posts and investment of time and money, you get the option of being a Jr. VIP. That's what you got to do if you have something to sell to the blackhatworld community.

I saw a guy on this forum that had something like -1,000 negative rep, yet their posts were well-written, conveying intelligence and creativity. I had to decide which was most likely to be true. Since then I've stopped fearing negative rep.

In the shitlist thread, someone recently went down the list, and anyone that posted anything that could remotely be described as being against the subject of the shitlist thread (who was eventually banned) was given negative rep with the text "snitch". Myself included, and all I did was post a YouTube video celebrating sexual diversity and exploration.

And in the very next shitlist thread, a reputable seller is falsely being called a "scammer" by the OP and several other idiots and it appears no negative rep was given to them. The thread was closed by a Mod due to the lack of substance to the charge. It was all manipulative hysteria, laziness and stupidity on the part of the OP. No neg rep there, either.

So the message is clear, which is that negative rep has nothing to do with attempting to improve the quality of the posts or the conduct of the BHW members, as there is no relationship between these qualities and who actually gets negative rep. It's an annoyance. It's either going to pressure people into cowering into submission, or provoke them into an overly aggresive posture. That's certainly true in my case. I've already made the decision that if I ever get the opportunity to hand-out neg rep, I'm going to visit a certain person and review every single post they've ever made, and look for a reason to neg rep them. (I've already found five.)

If people want to avoid getting -rep they should just use their common sense.

All those "Will I make money with Scrapebox?", "Is The Best Spinner good?", "How can I make money?" crap threads are pissing people off and then they press the -rep button, simple as that.

If you act like an idiot you will get a negative reputation, both here on BHW and in real life.

follow the QBQ-rule, quality before quantity, and learn how to use the search button and you should be fine.

Note to reppers: if you're leaving a positive rep, leave your name in the message so you can get a rep back! If you rep a regular member and don't leave your name, they don't know who you are so the can't return the favour!

It doesn't matter, though. When I give rep to someone, that's because I truly receive some great insights from his post. It's just a kind of gratitude, it doesn't need to be returned.
